So i truly wasn’t going to complain because I don’t like being that person but the more I think about it the more upset I am.
Today I tried to return a crockpot because it blew up when I was less than I foot away from it and it could have hurt me or my husband or animals. Glass literally went all over the kitchen it was pretty scary. I called the waxahachie HEB because that’s where my mother in law got it from for us and all 3 people I talked to were very nice and considerate/concerned and told me bring it back no problem even though we had it over the 90 day return window because they seemed to understand I’d didn’t matter that it was a year old it shouldn’t blow up when being used. I asked if I could take it to Mansfield since it was closer and they said that was okay I called Mansfield to check and explained everything that happened and the woman on the phone was also understanding. I got there and Noah was helping me first he was very nice and was trying to work out with me what to do (it wasn’t that I wanted a refund or anything necessary i literally never take anything back but I felt like this should be addressed just because someone could get hurt I never even asked for a refund I was offered one at the heb in waxahachie. Anyways Noah told me to go grab another one since I didn’t have a receipt or anything anymore I’m gone 2 minutes and I come back and there’s a manager up there named Phillip and he wanted to know what was going on I told him and he seemed to careless and was kind of being a jerk about it all and blew it off said there was nothing he could do so did I want to buy the one I picked out and i did because I hate being that person that causes a problem and so does my husband who was with me. After we got home we both were just kinda appalled at the lack of care. I’ll be going to the heb in burleson again. The one in Mansfield is more convenient and I know it won’t effect the one in Mansfield at they’re very busy but I just truly don’t like being around rude careless people so I won’t be shopping at this store anymore. Also maybe give Noah a raise or some kinda manager position he seems like he deserves it more than...
Read moreThis is my first review of a grocery store. It’s special because this grocery store just opened two days before. There were more than 1,000 people at the opening. H-E-B distinguishes itself as a Texas-focused grocery store. Most of its products come from Texas. The corporate headquarters is in San Antonio. There are in-store made tortillas, guacamole, salsa, and squeezed juice. Please note that the store was crowded. It’s hard to explore with so many people. H-E-B Mansfield is only four minutes away from me, so I may revise my review after a few more visits when the crowd is more normal. How do you get there? Google Maps and Waze direct you to Mitchell Road off Broad Street. Please note that Mitchell Road is still being paved. I suggest taking the first U-turn on 287 south of Broad Street and entering from 287. It’s a big store. You can get lost easily. The employees are plentiful and extremely helpful. Just ask them. My wife and I were impressed with how beautiful the fruit and vegetables were. For fruit, we bought strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. They all tasted better than the ones we bought elsewhere. We bought red peppers and green peppers. I’ve never seen them so good-looking. From the bakery, we bought some bagels and sourdough bread. All fresh, cheap, and delicious. Next to the bakery was the deli. An employee offered free samples of their turkey. It was the tastiest turkey I’ve ever had! We didn’t get any because there was a line at the deli. No wonder! But we did try their frozen General Tso’s Chicken at home. Wow! And the price for something that good in Costco would be much higher. We were impressed at the seafood counter. Lots of fresh fish. The shrimp was from the Texas Gulf. They had an ample collection of wines and spirits. There were many kinds of sake (Japanese spirit). The checkout process was smooth and efficient. The baggers must be the fastest in the West! And so friendly too. There is a Texas BBQ restaurant, but we went shopping too early. Next time. That was fun shopping at H-E-B. You don’t know Texas until you’ve...
Read moreI must say that a couple of months ago, when some friends suggested that my hubby and I use the HEB pharmacy, we were a little skeptical. We were at the time using Walgreens whom we had been having BIG problems with for years. We thought that as busy as HEB was as a whole, that the pharmacy must be a nightmare. Well, finally the day came when I got fed up with Walgreens and “fired” them for good! I called the HEB pharmacy and got right through with no hold time! I was already impressed at this point. I spoke to Anna and she was very friendly and helpful. I simply gave her my name and DOB along with which Walgreens I had been using and said she would do the rest in getting all of my prescriptions transferred! I was elated! Before I knew it I had rx’s ready that I had been waiting on for weeks at Walgreens. Once HEB got everything that I needed ready, my husband and I went to pick them up. Wondering how long this would take because being a new store with lots of customers, surely it was going to take an hour at least. Boy was I proved wrong!! We went inside and there was absolutely no line at all! And there was Anna, ready to help me. I got my rx’s, did a little shopping and was home within an hour; the shopping took the longest…..lol🤭. Every time we go to pick up a prescription, we never have to wait either inside or in the drive through. I’m still amazed, a couple of months later at how easy the whole process was and how quickly I am able to get my rx’s. Even when I request a refill, it’s always done and ready for pickup within 15-30 minutes. We are amazed and very thankful for the employees of the pharmacy! Best pharmacy experience ever and knowing that we can count on them if something is needed right away is something that we absolutely appreciate about this pharmacy! We have finally found our new forever home in the pharmacy business. Thank You to HEB and all of the pharmacy staff for making our...
