Read the reviews I thought it would have been much greater that's why we decided to stop by, seemed fairly new place. 1st you have to order at the counter no problem it's just sometimes you are asked to tip but it's a robot that serves the food to you. Well we ordered and then was asked what table are going to pick i guesd because the robot takes the plate to you. So we pick a table and little did we know once we got to the table it was dirty needed wiping, also it wasn't busy the 2 people who worked at front only take orders, a robot takes the food and people have to take their trash to the trash cans you think they would at least try their best to wipe the tables clean especially if it was slow and the robot is the one taking out the food. Once we wiped our own table we seen the 2 servers or people who took our order just chat and eat at a table way at the end, yeah they didn't care about the customers or the place. The food came out we thought it would be like it says puro DF but we'll we where disappointed. The reviews made it seem like it would be maybe 3 or 4 out 5 but no. The food came it was maybe warm at best. If it was made fresh or made and cooked right then the food would have steam would look like it just came off the grill but no. The alambre a 1 out of 5 the cheese was not melted, the meat was warm, the bacon that said it had was so small barley any. It just seemed it was bell pepper, onion and meat with cheese even though it listed more ingredients. We also had the tacos bistec and al pastor yeah cold maybe warm yes we did take pics of the food but we didn't not take that long for them to get so cold or warm I guess. Tacos 2 out of 5 what helped was the sauce. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for good tacos or Mexican food. I'd rather go to torchys tacos and I don't like torchys lol at least the tortillas are kinda home made feel and the meats are hot not...

We heard lots of raves that this place had authentic Mexican cuisine and wanted to come check them out.

There were lots of items to choose from on the menu.

Suggestion: If you come, make sure you know what you want beforehand. Get onto Google Maps

An absolute MUST on any visit to the DFW area. Tacos La Banqueta is by FAR one of my favorite taco spots ANYWHERE. That includes places in Los Angeles, DFW, Mexico City, and elsewhere!

I don't know exactly what it is about these tacos in particular, but everything about them just comes together perfectly. One thing I DO Know though, is that adding cheese to them is also a MUST! It brings the whole flavor profile together and makes them impeccably perfect!

Personally, I usually go for the Bistec Tacos, which are perfectly cooked, seasoned, and topped with just the right amount of onions & cilantro.

I also LOVE the green salsa here - just the right amount of heat without overpowering everything else with the tacos. Then adding a bit of lime to top it off? Chef's kiss! Muah!

In my recent visit to this particular location, I also found it fascinating that a robot delivered the tacos and sauces to our table! From ordering at the counter to receiving it from the robot, everything was very quick and efficient. The space itself is also very clean and airy within.

All things being said, Tacos La Banqueta is absolutely delicious, and you DEFINITELY need to visit while in...

We heard lots of raves that this place had authentic Mexican cuisine and wanted to come check them out. There were lots of items to choose from on the menu. Suggestion: If you come, make sure you know what you want beforehand. Get onto Google Maps<Tacos La Banqueta<Menu and pick out what you'd like first. There are so many dishes to choose from, and the three screens can not hold all the dishes they serve, so do your homework. We ordered 4 items: Tripa tacos, a carnita sopas, a chicharonnes gordita, and a Biztec tortas. All were delicious! The green tomatillo sauce took the flavor up a notch, and the red sauce was a good spiiiicy! Loved it! The only thing I didn't see, and maybe I should've asked was to see if they could grill our meat before they served it. We're used to crispy bits of meat in our tacos and wasn't sure if they were able to do that. If they did/do, I would come back at least 3 times a week. For sure. Out of the four, I think I like the sopas the best. Nothing says comfort food like crunchy fried things filled with delicious things. But, the star of the show was the hospitality. I forgot to ask the names of the cashier and the gentleman who made our meal pleasant, but next time I'm there, I'll be sure to ask and update this post. Definitely coming back for more sopas, and venturing into other unknown dishes that might topple the sopas from the Favorites spot. And, they're only 10 minutes away. Win, win!

Having worked in Mexico and having tried many a taqueria, I'm very picky about my Mexican food. Most places don't really qualify... It's mostly Tex-mex. This was a relatively new place next to my brother's house that he hadn't tried so we took my dad for his 89th birthday. Everybody ordered various tacos and we also got chicken gorditas. I'm happy to report that these are dang good tacos and gorditas. The folks working there were as nice as they could be and they even have my dad a slice of cheese cake for his birthday. Everyone liked their food. They also had a little robot waitress that was a little gimmicky but whatever. My only suggestion (and i know this is Tex-Mex) but if they wanna stay in business in Texas, they're gonna have to get some chips and salsa. Texans when they go to a "Mexican Restaurant" want chips and salsa and the lack there of will be frowned upon by the tex-mex "experts". Other than that, of you want really good Mexican food reminiscent of the little taqueria's you find in Mexico City (DF from their name), this is your place. There dang good!
