Good way to lose a large purchase is not opening when you say you are. I looked up to make sure when the Fred Meyer Jewelers opened and it said 9 AM. So I showed up at 8:55am expecting to wait a few minutes for them to open the doors, to see A lady putting out the expensive displays that they keep in the back every night. Thinking maybe she just got a late start but still a little annoyed. As time goes by she looks up and sees me standing there waiting and says hi and I reply hi back cheerfully then no reply from her! She then continues to put out the displays count her money drawer count another drawer, go do more things go in the back and ignoring me further. It wasn’t until 9:34 AM that she asked me “do you have a question?” Snippy, and I replied I’m trying to get a ring guard. And she said “we don’t open until after 10”, well that’s not what the website says and maybe you should acknowledge customers and ask them before they’re standing there for almost an hour. I walked out, bye Maple Valley location. I’m telling you that older lady(short blonde/gray hair with glasses) with a bad attitude and no worth ethic is going to ruin this location for future...

I've been buying rings from FM for over 20 years, first bad experience happened 2 weeks ago, when the lady at the FM Maple Valley was not listening to what I was asking for (an estimate on ring soldiering) and was instead focused on trying to sell me a lifetime warranty. At the end she submitted my rings to the jeweller for an estimate which should have been no more than $100 based upon prior transactions, instead, I received an estimate more than a week later for $1200, when I stated this was overpriced, they modified the estimate to $400. I said I would picking up my rings and the lady hung up me. I will not be going back. Something has changed in how they do business and I will be taking...

Some locations, like Maple Valle, have a jewelry maker on -site who does repairs and also creates jewelry.
