My favorite store to stop in when I'm in Stillwater, Gullywubbles, literally anytime I'm shopping for a gift I find the perfect thing here. I went to get Jeremy a new Nicki Minaj candle, they were sold out, way to go Nicki, selling out your candles in Stillwater, so I got him a Gaga. And a Dinosaurs water bottle for myself because I need one to bring to class and it's the best show of all time. Whoever is working when I'm there, (Jake? Cassidy? darling young one?) I end up chatting with forever, it's like a haven for weirdos. I love the queer section, being the OG gay man from Stillwater. I've bought two ridiculous sock monkeys for my mother who collects sock monkeys. I very much love this novelties store and return on a regular basis to browse, chat, bring new friends to, make friends with new people, and pick up gifts for various folks in my life. I literally wish I could buy one of everything just to adorn my own space and the spaces of those I love. The owner is a soul-sister to many, including myself, and a Jill of All Trades which I find inspiring and empowering. She provides a safe and inclusive space for all the pretty little creative weirdos of the Twin Cities Metro and Wisconsin, too. And offers, literally, something for everyone in her breadth of merchandise options. Please shop here and shop here often. I walked in expecting a toy store, but this place is so much more!!! Magnets, keychains and signs for the home with witty sayings, nostalgic items like concert posters and board games that I haven't seen in decades, cards, candies, t-shirts, unique gifts that I'll be back for and little items like sunscreen, headache relief and that kind of thing that we sometimes forget when we go out for a day. Today they had a lady doing "fairy hair". I'm not sure how it was attached, but it was individual strands of sparkly thread in their hair to give them extra sparkle! Love it! I talked to the owners.
