Read moreThis is a complaint from a mom who is 18 hours away from her sick daughter and feeling helpless sent her to this ER. Two nurses worked to draw her blood. She became upset due to the stress of them not finding a vein and began to cry. A nurse stated, "It will suck if you get cancer." I'm not sure if she was being funny or just rude but the statement was uncalled for. Another statement, "Did you think you could just pop in and pop back out?" when after 3 hours, no one had told her any diagnosis. The symptoms she stated: back pain, headache, and fatigue were not addressed. Instead she had a CT scan because her stomach was tender when the doctor performed his 5 minute exam. She was also told that she will have kidney stones due to crystals in her urine. When? Does she have them now? Will she have them in the future? My daughter is considered an adult in the 'eyes of the law.' However, she is really still a kid, 18 hours from family, working her first real job, and trying to figure out the world. She was alone, scared, and sick at this ER. I would think it was common human decency to have compassion for a sick person who is openly upset and stressed about the situation. Instead she left this hospital feeling stupid for seeking help. Do not reply with a canned response of contacting your feedback email - I...

I've had them before, knew what it was and just needed a MRI to determine the size and something for the pain until it passed. They drastically overcharge for everything ($350 for a bag of IV fluid, $650 for 30 seconds with a doctor who literally quoted things I read on Google about kidney stones and you'd think they sold me an MRI machine) ....thank God our insurance company forced them to knock the amount of the bill down some. While I was there I wondered why the staff kept pushing IV's and extra medication I wasn't asking to have administered. It seems it is so they can pad the already inflated bill. I set up a payment plan for the last $780....haven't missed a payment, but have nevertheless been harassed by their bill payment...
