I will never ship with UPS or this location again. I'm a soldier who will deploying soon and my brother sent it expedited shipping to ensure I received it before I leave. When I checked the tracking to see the progress it showed no updates on where my package. When I did not receive it, I called their 1-800 number for a status update. The representative I spoke with was very rude and told me to call the store, because she couldn't see any updates on where my package was. I then called the store, and thankfully I had the time it was actually scanned at the store. The manager there told me I have I wait 8-10 business days for them to complete an investigation, before they can report the phone lost or stolen. My problem with this is that he cannot tell me what happened to my package after it was dropped. He cannot tell me whether or not it was picked up by a carrier. So I'm confused as to why I have to wait 8-10 business days before they are able to refund my money for both my phone and shipping. I will not deployed before they complete my investigation, and their response to me is to purchase another phone and they will notify me when the investigation is completed. Sad to say, it doesn't look like I will be getting my monies back anytime soon, as I'm sure they'll be happy I will not be around to be able to contact me regarding my refund. To serve this country and deal with such POOR customer service and concern for clients/customers, UPS will never receive a penny from myself, and I will let my fellow soldiers know of my experience with this issue. I know this must be the season others get greedy and steals, but this is just absurd!!!!! They know that my package was stolen, but to show face they are doing an...
Read moreOn three separate occasions the mistakes and faults of this particular UPS Store has cost me valuable time and money.
The first bad experience with the UPS Store in Marietta Trade Center was when I had to return a +300 USD item to Amazon. Due to their delay with delivering the package to Amazon, I was charged a late return fee.
The second bad experience with the UPS Store in Marietta Trade Center was when I and my fiancé sent an application to the United Stated Citizen and Immigration Service. The letter was addressed to a P.O. box but the UPS Store happily attempted to send it as a package requiring a delivery signature, and also charged for that service. The package eventually lay undelivered for over three weeks, without any notice to me. This mistake cost me and my fiancée three weeks of time together, and three weeks of income for me (around 4000 USD).
The third bad experience with the UPS Store in Marietta Trade Center was when I and my fiancée wanted to send an overnight delivery to Washington D.C. and another one to the Department of State in Missouri, and a third normal-delivery letter to Europe. This time all letters lay undelivered at the UPS Store for 10 days, even though I was charged over 120 USD in total. This cost me and my fiancée 10 days of time together, and 10 days of income for me (around 2000 USD).
In total, due to the grave and repeated service inadequacies of the UPS Store in Marietta Trade Center, I and my fiancée have lost at least month of time together, and also 6000 USD in income.
I strongly recommend you to not utilize the services of this...
Read moreExtremly rude store clerk. He first made a sarcastic remark about the preprinted label I had (it printed as a full sheet of paper). I apologized and asked if it was a problem. He said he'd make it work and used 3 vertical strips of packing tape over the label, one on either side and one down the middle. I asked that he put one on the top and bottom of the label to secure the edges so they would be ripped and he told me that if he did it for me he'd have to do it for the next 100 customers that came in and suggested I buy a roll of tape. I promised that they wouldn't know and he agreed to put strip at the top which he did. I asked about the bottom and he put a piece on the bottom that was only on the label and not on the box, which would still allow the paper label to be snagged. I ask that he repeat it correctly and he again suggested I buy a roll of tape. I said I didn't need a roll of tape and he said he'd just cancel the shipment. I said no and he walked away. I took a picture of him and the box as he was helping the next customer to post on Facebook and Instagram and left the package there, telling him that if it was lost it would be on him. I've never had such conversation as this in a UPS store. This clerk needs to be taught how to deal with customers and I will be very unlikely to use this store and much less likely to use any UPS store in the future for our business.
