I moved into AMLI Marina Del Rey in May 2025, paying $7,350/month for what is advertised as “luxury living.” Instead, I’ve been subjected to nightly 1:30 AM commercial truck deliveries directly beneath my unit for The Hive coffee shop located in the complex. The trucks are large (24–26 feet), use lift gates, reversing alarms, and bright flashing lights that shine into my bedroom. These deliveries last 30–60 minutes and occur seven nights per week. The noise wakes me and my family every night, leaving us exhausted, unable to sleep properly, and struggling at work and school the next day. I have complained repeatedly to AMLI management since September, provided photo and video evidence, and asked for intervention. Despite polite responses, nothing has changed. Security ignores the noise. Management claims they are “working with the retail tenant,” but months later, the trucks still come at 1:30 AM like clockwork. This is not luxury living — it is mismanagement. AMLI seems unwilling to enforce quiet enjoyment for residents, prioritizing their retail tenant instead. At this rent level, it is completely unacceptable to lose sleep every single night because management refuses to act. If AMLI takes real action to stop overnight deliveries and enforces reasonable quiet hours, I will update this review. Until then, I cannot recommend living here to anyone who values peace, rest, or true luxury. For your response doing nothing your office been incompetent Living at AMLI Marina Del Rey has been exhausting and stressful. I pay for what is marketed as “luxury living,” but instead I’m forced to live above a coffee shop (The Hive) that receives deliveries at 1:30 AM and now also at 5:30 AM . seven days a week. The trucks park directly under my apartment with lift gates, alarms, and flashing lights, waking me and my family night after night. During the day, I already deal with heavy traffic noise, cars speeding on Via Marina, and regular business activity in the complex. I can accept daytime noise because it’s expected in a busy area. But at night, after a full day of work, I should be able to rest like a normal human being. Instead, my sleep is constantly broken. I wake up tired, stressed, and unable to focus at work. My children also struggle with school because they can’t sleep properly. The lack of sleep has affected my health, my family life, and my business. It leaves me anxious and exhausted, and it feels like I’m being mistreated by both the building management and the coffee shop. AMLI knows about this problem — I’ve complained many times, and they promised solutions — but they’ve done nothing. Their security ignores it, their managers ignore it, and they seem more interested in protecting their retail tenant than the residents who pay thousands of dollars in rent every month. What I’m living through is not luxury, not fair treatment, and not sustainable. It is stressful, harmful, and shows complete disregard for the well-being of residents. AMLI claims this issue was being resolved, but deliveries are still happening nightly at 1:30 AM and now also at 5:30 AM. They promised it would be fixed within a week, but months later nothing has changed. Emails to management go unanswered, and on-site security ignores the problem. AMLI appears more focused on protecting The Hive (their retail tenant) than on residents’ right to quiet enjoyment. Deliveries in a residential complex should happen during business hours — not in the middle of the night.

I lived here for over two years and am no longer a resident due to unresolved issues. I did not leave reviews while a tenant because I was working in good faith to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. The five star reviews you see are solicited by management from new tenants to leave glowing reviews after being starstruck by the nice marina views and expansive amenities after moving in. I admit, I was one of these people. The community is in a great location and features new construction with high end finishes and great views! Many other reviewers comment on the noise between floors and “crime” which never bothered me. If you’re going to live in a dense low rise apartment, you’re signing up for these inevitable issues. AMLI is a reputable developer and company. What did bother me was what local management COULD control and CHOSE not to. If you look at the website and tour the community, amenities are part of the value proposition. Look very closely. You’ll find fire pits that don’t work, damaged furniture, dirty restrooms, unkempt grills, TVs that don’t work, burnt out lightbulbs, broken furniture, spills that sit for days, no soap in restrooms, gym not cleaned effectively for days, debris in corridors, filthy trash rooms, etc. These aren’t one offs - they are chronic issues that go unresolved for weeks. This is what you’ll experience day to day. Management feels anyone who brings these issues to their attention are entitled and impatient. The GM who clearly responds to Google reviews has a defensive posture tending to be aloof, reactive, and complacent. Just read a few responses to get a flavor of the culture. What they don’t do is walk their own building, despite living in it, making it even more inexcusable. Rest assured, if you provide feedback that everyone else BUT this individual is to blame - hourly staff, residents, vendors, the public, and the rest. Leadership is the problem. Not the folks who work here who were always super responsive and helpful, especially when something in my home needed attention. If you’re paying this amount you should expect a safe and well maintained community with a proactive manager. I chose to move because they couldn’t handle basic upkeep and didn’t really care after 2+years. I was just another number and they’re counting on you to just appreciate the views and lower your expectations. If you are willing to overlook this and pay a premium you may love it. It’s clear many do. Otherwise, look elsewhere! Update - the response which doesn’t even property interpret the review and is full of meaningless jargon like “five star” is the same, frustrating tone-deaf communication you can expect. Management absolutely solicits reviews from residents.

After a little over a year here at AMLI, I want to share my experience solely for prospective tenants. The marina is one of the best places to live in Los Angeles. If you're considering relocating here: do it. Your quality of life will increase drastically. However, think twice about this building. It is not at all what it appears to be. From the outside, the property is aesthetically stunning. All the amenities appear refined, the location looks great in photos, & it’s super fun to have friends come over. The maintenance staff is also incredible (leasing office folks could definitely take a few pointers from them). That's truly where the list of pros ends. Construction of the units is awful (you will see this talked about in many reviews - it is a real problem). We were fortunate to live on a top floor unit, which in theory would eliminate the noise that travels between floors. However, we quickly realized we were living on top of folks with above average hearing, greatly bothered by music playing from computers and laptops. So bothered, they scaled the building one night and banged on my window with a broom (yes, scaled to a 5th floor window from a 4th floor balcony). Besides the extreme level of panic this caused me, a female home alone late at night, the response from management to “wear AirPods” instead of playing things out loud was…disappointing, to say the least. Additionally, there are MAJOR security issues in the building. We’ve had a bicycle taken apart in an attempt to remove it from a bike lock. I’ve been chased down my hallway by an intoxicated homeless person who was attempting to breach someones unit. Upon reporting this incident to management, their only response was, “Did you let this person in?” I’m sorry…what? When choosing a place to live, especially at this price range, security and communication are bottom line requirements. When you live in a city like Los Angeles, things will happen. It is the unfortunate truth. However, the complete disregard for the tenants of AMLI by management, beyond receiving rent payments, leaves you to fend for yourself in any type of uncomfortable situation. It is nothing more than an overpriced dorm for influencers...the pool is a Vegas party every weekend, condoms in the bathrooms, emergency vehicles on site at least once a week. If you’re looking for something more than that…look elsewhere.

I have been living at the AMLI since June and it has been one incident after another. They sell you on the "lifestyle" and not just an "apt to live in" but the day to day has been frustrating here and it's anything but lifestyle. Some small examples..no garbage can in the mail room to toss out junk mail. When I called and asked about this, I was told that if we place one in the mail room, then the residences would start to throw their dog poop inside and it would make the mail room smell!! They suggested that I take the junk mail and throw it out in my garbage. Really? I have never heard such an excuse to not have someone empty out the trash daily. So they want to offer you a quality lifestyle, but we do not want to clean up garbage bins daily for you, but rather have you carry junk all the way back up to your apt in order to toss it. 2nd incident. I was away on a business trip and was alerted by my motion censor that someone entered my apt. When I asked, they said they needed to change a filter and an email was sent with a couple of day notice. Why they did not call me as they have my phone in my file is beyond my understanding. This simply does not make me feel safe. 3rd incident. I was shaken awake by a loud fire alarm and ran into the hallway to find all the hallway passage doors shut. There was no notice, no warning and no follow up. I called the office but was not open at 9:30am. I called after 10am (office hours) and got a voicemail. It wasn't until after 10:30 I reached someone, who then said it was an accident and I was told that they did not even know about it until I called. I find this highly alarming and potentially dangerous. Few more incidents and I can go on but anyone can get the drift. The building looks great and interiors are the top offering the Marina has, but service and lifestyle is definitely lacking. And when you speak to management, it's a broken record of "we are sorry to hear that you are unhappy".

Update 10/3 The garage doors has been installed in my building and entry is granted with a thick credit card device that is left in your car obviously. So now I am blocked from being dropped off on the street and walking into the garage after a dinner or a business trip home with an uber. I now have to walk through the lobby door, which is on the side of the Marina that is blocked off due to construction. So there is a unpaved dirt path where all residents must walk across and pray to not twist their ankle in order to get to the lobby entrance. Once again, I had to contact management who advised 1) there is a new manager who joined last week, 2) a week later, he is still settling in and will reach out to me in order to discuss my issues. with the building next week. The lack of urgency and response for safety and daily standard of living issues is shocking to me. If you are thinking of moving to the AMLI, DO NOT! Being the most expensive building in the Marina currently, they should be offering only top level service. My friends lives across the way at the Shores and I've looked at other buildings, and although on the surface, the AMLI is beautiful, when you peel back the layers, it's a disaster. I wonder when will they have the urgency to resolve even the safety issues..when someone is injured walking across a...

I recently relocated from the Bay Area for a new job opportunity and after an extensive apartment search, I'm super happy I ended up selecting AMLI Marina Del Rey as my new So Cal home.

Relocating from out of town has been a challenging task so I had to do a lot of research online to figure out the best place for me, the Marketing team here is definitely doing a phenomenal job! I checked out all their content on Social Media (Facebook & Instagram) and it made me really want to come check it out due to their great content of the property and the lifestyle out here in Marina Del Rey.

The leasing team here has been very helpful and professional, they always respond very quickly to all my emails which I really appreciate! The property is brand new and super clean, all the units have amazing views of the marina. My neighbors and I constantly joke around and say we feel like we're always on vacation living here! hahaha It really feels great coming home to such a beautiful waterside location! I'm not sure I will ever want to leave.

The apartment is definitely top notch! My apartment has beautiful luxury finishes as well as high end appliances, a nest smart thermostat, and my island even has a built in wine refrigerator! WOW! The amenities are also really nice, they have a game room, business center as well as rooftop hangout areas and my personal favorite is the 3 story gym!!!

They also offer boat slips to park your boat, I plan on getting a boat so I can take full advantage of the marina lifestyle. Oh they also offer Kayaks and Paddle boards for residents to use for free so that you can really have some fun on the water! I have never seen any apartment complex that has these kind of offerings, they really went above and beyond!

Another super awesome benefit of living here are the resident events! They host weekly events for all the residents to mix & mingle, I really love this because being from out of town it can be difficult to adapt to a new community, I got to meet my neighbors at the events and it made me feel very welcomed and right at home very quickly!

I have to give special thanks to Angel for hosting such amazing events and introducing me to the other residents! He does an incredible job hosting and putting on all the events here. Some of my favorite events are the Backyard BBQ as well as the Wine Night that was hosted on the rooftop just before sunset which was so nice! He's definitely an All-Star staple to this community and is ALWYAS very friendly and welcoming which makes me feel like the staff really cares about the residents! I'm glad Angel is the man in charge when it comes to the social events, keep up the fantastic work!

I've been constantly bragging to all my buddies back home in the Bay Area about the epic lifestyle here at AMLI Marina Del Rey which is SERIOUSLY, NEXT LEVEL! I will definitely be referring my friends and colleagues here!

This is definitely the place to be in Los Angeles /...
