I was at ALDI'S a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been to ALDI'S since they were closed for remolding, and because of health issues. I must say I was very impressed. They have everything you could imagine and more. Now because of my car motor blowing up, as they say, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. But alot of people doesn't realize how much money they could save by going to ALDI'S. And with our economy in such a terrible way we need to save all our MONEY'S that we can. Everything I wanted was at ALDI'S, I was so amazed, everything was nicely put in every isle. They have any kind of cheese you could imagine. They have all the meats, frozen foods, dairy, breads. I just can't say enough!, don't throw your MONEY'S away by spending it here in town. Trust me you'll be happier in the long run. If I would have bought everything I bought at Kroger's, here where I live in Mt Gilead it would have been more than doubled. It's ashame that our community is taked advantage of because that's the only store we have. I hated to see when save alot closed. But ALDI'S is so much better our needs. They even sell alot more than grocery. It really hurt me when my car died, because I can't drive to Marion to ALDI'S. I just can't say enough to you the community, your probably thinking about the gas usage and prices. But it's really not that far of a drive!! And you'll see after a few trips how much MONEY'S you'll save by doing your grocery shopping at ALDI'S!! If you haven't been there in awhile, just try it for a few times, I guarantee you'll be happy...
Read moreThis store is VASTLY improved! I don't know when the remodel happened, but what I do know is that it is better organized, and the aisles are more spacious.
They offer some items not available in the Bucyrus store -- I've never seen mochi in Bucyrus (Japanese ice cream treats!) Their frozen food aisle is extensive. On the other hand, Bucyrus has a wall of cheese and deli meats.
When we're in Marion, this will definitely be a stop for us.
Regarding handicapped-accessibility concerns, on the west side of the freezer aisle, many cases require the ability to stand to access their contents. This could be a challenge, so those with standing challenges should consider bringing along a helper for the...
Read moreI have shopped Aldi's for years. I like their stores, their prices and the products that they carry. My experience today was not at my "neighborhood" Aldi's. Today I went to the Aldi's in Marion, Ohio. This is a typical Aldi's - clean and well stocked with friendly employees. I found some good deals there also. I must note, however, that I have seldom encountered as strange a group of customers as those I saw there today. Maybe it's me (naw). It's Marion (yep)! Old dudes with baseball caps who can't drive a grocery cart. Lots of scowls. Lots processed foods in those grocery carts. Even a few neck tattoos. Go for the values. The show is thrown...
