I would never recommend anyone to do business with these people on their utvs or anything motor operated. We bought our two utvs brought them home our big 550 UTV began to overheat within an hour of owning the machine. We return the machine for repairs it's been 2 weeks we still have not got our machine back let alone know what's even wrong with our machine. We have called numerous times I have that in my call log list on my phone also message after message still no response. This company still has our UTV and still telling us every day we can pick it up the next day but yet we have not got it back we have tried to cancel our loan for the utvs and return the equipment however Redstone credit union has already paid rural King and therefore they cannot cancel our loan. We've suggested rural can give their money back and keep their equipment and we still keep getting the runaround. Do not do business with this company with anything that is engine operated! update::another week has come and gone, it's Monday and we still do not have our UTV back. First they told us it was a hose that they said was cut which is not possible we only had the machine for an hour before it began to overheat! Then they told us it was a sensor then they told us it was a thermostat then they told us the part came in and it was a broken part and they had to return it and get a new part and now they're telling us it's the water pump this place is a joke!! Update! It is now Wednesday we are still being told that we're waiting on a water pump it's the 28th of April mind you our first payment is due May 6th that is an 8 days and we have yet to do more than one hour's worth of riding on this Update; well it's Friday we still don't have our UTV back! Still being told waiting on on a water pump. It does flabbergast me on how there can be four major parts broken on a UTV that is supposed to be brand new! I have reached out to corporate and have not heard back I have reached out to Redstone which is the finance holder they can't do anything unless rural King gives back their money.. another weekend come and gone and payment due in 5 days I absolutely discourage anyone from doing business with this company.. update: so here we are another week has gone by and I still do not have our UTV. I've contacted the store and spoke with Jim he's now telling me the water pump came in two days ago and it's still not installed because they have a part-time mechanic who only works 3 days a week until noon! On a plus side our payment is now not due until June but yet almost 30 days after buying our utv and we still don't have the UTV. I still haven't heard back from the manager of the store Paul. Or corporate office since I've made all my phone calls to them.. I am completely disappointed with the store please do your research before you do business with them! update: so on Friday May 7th we picked up the UTV only to get it home unload it from the trailer drive it to the garage and have it overheat again! Talking about livid yes we're livid! I have place calls back to the company and waiting on response what to do next it is now Tuesday May 11th UTV is at my house but still not drivable. This is getting to the point where it is starting to cause emotional and mental anguish I'm starting to feel defeated and overwhelmed with the entire situation, it is now Tuesday May 18th the UTV is still at my house and still undrivable continues to overheat, have been in touch with Bo haven't heard back since first conversation also been in touch with Shane have not heard back since first conversation have spoke back with Jim he does his best to keep in contact but really can do nothing he is only a sales person spoke with Paul and was told that they will have a mobile mechanic come to my house to find out what the issue is, but if they couldn't figure out the issue while it was at the shop what makes you think a mobile mechanic will be able to figure it out at my house. Anyways I have accepted for them to send a mobile mechanic but still waiting on that appointment was...
Read moreThe ONLY reason they are getting the second star is because they eventually called us to tell us they had the chicks in that we wanted, and they were on sale for a dollar.
This rural king is full of the most INCOMPETENT and RUDE employees of any feed store I've ever been to..
2 weeks ago (that's important) we called to see if they had Cornish cross chicks in. They DID NOT... so they said we could leave a number and would call us. Today we get the call and go to get them.. they were marked down to a dollar (woohoo!) because they had been there for a little while. So I ask the guy when they got them in, so I can make sure, as it's important to have the right timing for processing. He tells us "oh I don't know, we just get them in whenever... maybe 4 weeks? a month and a half?"
I'm sorry, but WHAT? If they were 4-6 weeks old, they'd be READY FOR BUTCHER. These chicks barely had feathers! So I question it and said they weren't that big... and I happen to know that they CAN in fact find a receiving date.. he doubles down and tells me again that they are about a month old.
Keep in mind, we called 2 weeks ago and they DIDNT HAVE THEM.
So we think okay whatever, this guy obviously has NO freaking idea what he's talking about. And coming from a family who raises meat chickens, I know better. So I look for someone else just so I can get an accurate date. When we didn't find anyone in back, we just asked the cashier. Who was by far the RUDEST woman I've ever had to displeasure of dealing with there. When I asked Jen the cashier she said "I don't KNOW! I'm just A CASHIER." Like, okay, clearly... so I told her the issue and she just gets on the radio with enough attitude to drown you with and asked about the age of the chicks. To which they again responded with "4 weeks." Which they DEFINITELY ARE NOT. I voiced my confusion respectfully (even though at this point I was about ready to pop) just because of the size - and tried to explain how big that would actually make them. And she snarkily responds with "WELL I DONT KNOW. I just WORK HERE." To which I finally responded with "THATS WHY WE ASKED"
Now again, we called 2 weeks ago, they didn't have them. And in case you're wondering, these chicks are roughly 10-12 days old..
Sure the chicks may be a dollar- but ordering them from metzer farms is frankly going to be worth spending 5.20 a chick considering the absolutely TRASH customer service from rural king. I will no longer be going there for any of my other feed or dog food either. What a freaking nightmare...
Read moreI called into the store and spoke with Bonnie with customer service. I was immediately treated as if i was a bother or inconvenience. I asked about stock for a milwaukee tool and after she huffed put me on hold for 10 minutes which was a complete disrespectful. I get the store may be busy, but from someone that spends tens of thousands a year at the Marion Rural King store i expected to at least get treated like anyone else. So after waiting for 10 minutes I decided i would just drive up to the store. I walked in and purchased what I had called in reference of along with a cart full of other items. I was standing in line and looked over to the front desk were a couple of associates were just standing around laughing and not helping anyone. So I pushed my cart over to the customer service desk and asked if I could check out there. I was immediately told well you can wait in line I'm too busy. I stated well I didn't know since associates we standing around. As I started to walk away I was debating just leaving my cart and doing business somewhere else. After getting back in line the woman started calling people over to the desk to be checked out. I was pretty aggravated by this so I went over there to check out. As I got up to check out I saw her nametag stated Bonnie. I started checking out and as she bagged my items I was just trying to have a conversation and be polite by asking you guys must be busy today. Bonnie just said yeah to many people calling in and asking questions. I thought to myself well I was one of those people. I was needing some pellets so I inquired about a pallet of pellets. You would have thought that i asked her to go run the store and do my shopping as she huffed and rolled her eyes. So finally i finished checking out and I asked do i go to the normal side to get loaded just wanting to double check and she again rolled her eyes as if she was above me and I was trash. She stated well if you bought them before its going to be the same. I was very insulted by the way I was treated and I have not been back since. I have been pricing other stores or even considering driving to another Rural King Store. The customer service from the customer service desk by Bonnie was just rude. As i felt she treated me like she was better than me and i was just a bother to even deal with. So unprofessional and...
