Ashley Store — Local services in Marion Township

We are pleased with our purchase and have friends comment that our living room doesn't look like a living room it looks like a show room. The delivery guys were polite and very professional. Our furniture was delivered August 13.

• I have increased my review from 1 star to 3. While I still do not have my furniture, Doug was true to his comment and reached out to my husband with a call. Showing ownership and a committment to correct our mistakes is an important part of customer service.

I give one star because of their lack of communication with customers.

We ordered furniture, paid cash, in May and were told we would have the furniture late June to early July. On July 3 the salesman text and said the furniture would arrive in July. Last week my husband text the salesman with no response. July 20, I called the store and spoke with the receptionist who asked why I was calling to best direct my call. She responded that she would see who was available to talk to me. Then my call went to a voicemail. Surprisingly my husband text a little later and said the salesman called him the furniture is slated for arrival on July 30.

I would review the furniture... but 10 weeks later we still do not have it.

We can appreciate that there may be difficulties obtaining materials due to the Corona Virus but that does not excuse the lack of communication and a runaround...

Update.. 3rd time purchase. Callie had top notch AAA+ customer service. She helped me buy a couch over the phone because it was the last day of the labor day sale, and I could not go to the store until Thursday lol. Callie helped me find the best deal and best set even though I couldn't be there till Thursday to see it, and didn't want to miss out on the great deal as the labor day sale included a free loveseat..

When I went back Thursday to look at it, I thought it was a beautiful set, just a little firmer than I would like, but for the price decided to keep it and add maybe a memory foam cushion. I think the platform bases do not have as much give as a coil base making the couches feel firmer.

The set is very beautiful but not as soft as I would like. End of new review.

Ashley Furniture store in Marion Ohio is a classy furniture store, with beautiful furniture and very friendly staff!! The customer service was great both times I've been there. Maggie was friendly and helpful! My Mom has shopped Ashley's for years, and now I am shopping there! You cannot beat the 0% interest financing for 4-6 year deals they have. It makes furniture affordable now on a very affordable monthly payment!! They let my adult son with autism pace all around the store, while I found a great bed, and they were really cool and friendly about it. They even offered us drinks! I went into Ashley Furniture in Marion on 06/10/2024. I didn't even buy furniture yet, but I had a wonderful customer service experience with Justin. He asked if he could help me when I walked in, I explained that I was looking for furniture for my living room. I didn't know what I wanted, my old farm house has narrow doors and I just wanted to get an idea of what was out there to replace my old furniture. He and I chatted a bit about some options and then he let me roam through the store. He checked in on me about half way through the store to see if I needed any help. When I was getting ready to leave, I touched base with him. He asked about what I found, if I had any questions about the options, and if we could exchange contact information. I told him, I needed to go home and remeasure my door because I was afraid the options that I liked wouldn't fit. I showed him the ones I did like and he informed what the lead time was like my choices. We chatted and joked for a few minutes, he walked me to the door and asked again about contact information, which I refused because I just don't know if that furniture will fit in my door. While I didn't buy anything, Justin's customer service was not pushy, annoying or overwhelming and made me feel like I made a friend while browsing at furniture. Thank you for the great customer...
