Big Sandy Superstore — Local services in Marion Township

Do not buy from this store. Stay away spent 1500 on a floor model fridge that had paperwork with no scratches or dents. Marked new out of box. They stated the policy was that because it was a floor model it could have dents or scratches whether they were marked on the paper or not. So they are selling a dented fridge as new out of box committing fraud and lying to customers. They are trying to push their mistakes off to the customer. I wonder how many people they have scammed like this, but not gonna be me. Come the day to deliver it they try to give us a fridge that had big dents all over every side. Call the store and manager said they couldn't do anything that we had to take the fridge or they could give my money back in store credit meanwhile the truck was already gone. Already sold our old fridge so now we have nothing and even asked if we could get a loaner fridge to save food and they said no. They'll be hearing from my lawyer to replace all my food and pay for meal expenses incurred and pay for stress caused. Couldn't pay me to step foot in this store again, needs to be shut down for committing fraud. You're better off going to your local appliance store, most of the time you will pay a little more but customer service will be much better and they would have resolved the issue the same day to...

We recently purchased a new mattress. We did decide the mattress wasn’t “for us” and decided to use the ‘satisfaction return/trial period’ to exchange for a different firmness.

I am a very indecisive person and picky. This always makes me feel like a burden. I always distance myself from sales representatives as much as possible because of this.

Brenna, in the mattress department was extremely approachable and friendly! She never made us feel like she was annoyed by my MANY questions, my indecisiveness or even when we decided to exchange the mattress!

I learned they have a texting app through the store they text customers from, so nice! We received a text the evening we purchased the mattress, letting us know our more preferred date for delivery had been made possible and we were very thankful for that!

If you are in the market for a new mattress and would consider yourself a casual shopper, indecisive, you ask a lot of questions, you take your time, or would just like a comfortable experience, we recommend speaking with Brenna! I’ve had several family members and friends who have went here to buy Whirlpool appliances to help keep the store alive and was informed that the staff purposely deters the purchases of Whirlpool products. They had stated several times that they wanted Whirlpool and were told not to buy them because of personal opinion or bad experience with previous work. As a sale representative in a town where Whirlpool provides the majority of income this is not a smart business model and frustrates people who rely on sales of our products for their pay. Intentionally talking negatively to alter peoples opinion and convince them to buy LG or Samsung with no thoughts to how it affects other companies and other peoples income basis shows lack of care for the community. The largest income provider in central Ohio is Whirlpool. It’s done on purpose based on conniving personal opinion and will damn near argue with the consumer about brands to buy.
