Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Martinez

9-4-24 My first visit to this establishment. I arrived, and was expecting to see my sister. She wasn't there. I was, immediately, approached. The manager asked what was wrong, and how he could help me.I explained, that I was just waiting for someone. My sister arrived, and began to place her order. A young man, Luis, prepared her order. (We both, ordered bowls) There was no, sauteed bell pepper and onions. Luis stopped and grabbed a fresh tub of raw mix, from the refrigerator , and began to cook it for her. I was pleasantly surprised, I observed Luis, change his gloves! WOW! I appreciate his food handling safety! I told Luis, that he was doing a GREAT JOB! My experience with the manager, Luis, and the cashier, was excellent. *I had no intention on visiting Chipotle again, after terrible service, poor management, and filth, at the Pleasant Hill location. The guy building my burrito bowl was stingy with the portions of everything including the cup of guacamole. He made sure to not fill the cup. Deliberately came up short on every condiment and the chicken. I let him make my order then I showed the manager. He half heartedly agreed that the portions were a little small and offered to add to it. I don't like being ripped off and I told him this is the smallest portions of any chipoltle in the county.Give credit for adding to my order but it's wrong how they are training the new people. If I say it was small. Believe me it was. You don't gain return customers this way. I'll give them one...

This is by far the cleanest, freshest, nicest, most professional chipotle that I have eaten at. I wish I could give this place 6 stars, it's those little things that set this place above the rest- stirring the mass amount of produce before each scoop so the flavor spreads evenly, straining the beans and salsa juices out of the scoop before adding it, grabbing a handful of cheese but sprinkling it evenly till I said when, asking for any last minute requests, it was the best experience I have ever had and you could taste the love....
