I walked into a Marysville Salon years ago and was randomly assigned Amanda as my stylist. That day truly changed my life. As a 40 something woman adrift without a stylist for years, I had been burned by other salons and staff who gave me cuts without passion and charged me insane prices under level systems I couldn’t understand. Amanda listened, she was thoughtful and she gave me ideas and things to consider. She valued our relationship and every single cut was exactly what I needed. I noticed she often had a trainee with her. She was entrusted with education and growth of other stylists. She was patient with them, kind and knew her stuff. She didn’t gossip or wear me out, she was authentic, warm and funny. When she moved to Center Salon I followed her and I will follow her ANYWHERE she goes moving forward. She cuts our entire family’s hair and has given my teenage daughters new levels of personal confidence while educating them on caring for their hair. My husband has been going as well and his hairs never looked better. She’s flexible with scheduling but straight forward with any limitations. I don’t have to wait, she’s ready for me when I come in and  if there is ever a 10-15 min delay to allow another client to finish she lets me know way ahead of time. Her communication skills are fantastic. She has an awesome disposition, makes me feel at ease. She’s quiet with me or talks with me, whatever works best for us on the day. I never feel like I’m in the way or there’s drama or I’m trapped with insane oversharing. I’ve felt that way in other salons and it’s exhausting. Amanda is amazingly cool, accepting and kind.

Her pricing is super straight forward, affordable and fair. She has never treated me like a money bag, I feel like a partner with her invested in my overall well-being. When I feel good about myself my quality of life improves. The haircut and color I have now is the BEST OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I will seek Amanda out wherever she is for the rest of my life. If you want someone that cares and is highly competent, a leader in her field and really great to spend time with Amanda’s your gal. I am proud to be her client and refer her to people in my life. I What an amazing salon!! First off it’s brand new, super fresh and clean yet also feels like home.

When my top hairstylist (seriously she was rated at the very top) from Elle Marie moved out of state I was so worried, but Mylanna, owner of Centre Salon in Marysville, took complete care of me and put all my worries at ease! She did a phenomenal job and I absolutely loved that it felt like being at home with your best friend, because really that’s all we want for our hair experience! We chatted away and she had me leaving as if I left my aunt Melody’s salon (true story, I visited there my whole childhood with my mom before she passed away from cancer, my moms best friend who had an in home salon). That’s really why we go to get our hair done...outside of looking like a fabulous queen anyways am I right?!?! (I feel like emojis would really make my point).

Such great talks, great hair treatments, highlights, hot neck towels with neck and head massages while getting shampooed..I left charting it up to an oasis a busy sports mom can only dream of these days. I mean, who needs a massage therapist when you can get a massage...and leave looking like Oprah on her best day?!?! LET’S GOOOOO!!!! Sorry...sports mom in me. oops.

Seriously though, hands down the best!! Also, if you feel worthy enough..jk just feel brave enough... to pick up the phone, dial the number and ask for Mylanna! But if she is not available I sat and watched alllll the people in hair capes just like me leave just as happy and satisfied :)

I brang my daughter her for her 19th birthday she was so excited b/c it was her first time and she had a big event planned I paid upfront for all the bells and whistles and my daughter left in tears 9hrs later with orange hair and it was completely dead on top of that the girl doing her hair said she didn’t really like doing hair she wasn’t jus doing it to get by so that made my daughter very uncomfortable then my daughter didn’t even get her hair cut and I did not get my money back for that like they said, my daughter left devastated and she cried all night and into the next day or when ever we talked about it but me as a person believe in second chances so we still went to my other daughters appt and she was turning 18 and had a birthday party with friends and family so we went Jus said we wanted a diff lady to do her hair but that was whole mess in it’s self I explain to the lady what happen the week before and we were a little cautious she kept telling us she knows what she’s doing jus wait and sit down my daughters was showing her what she wanted cause she felt like she wasn’t putting enough hair in the top part which she wasn’t not at all then she got very very upset with us and said I’m not doing your hair get out so we did and my daughters hair was not done and my other’s daughters hair was dead and orange but thank gosh we found an amazing lady that fix it all and made my daughters look beautiful for the birthdays. Horrible horrible experience we had at this place even when we gave them a second chance it was jus as...
