Was five star service in store but I was double charged for my order and currently I have spent over a week running in circles trying to get the charge removed. This is unacceptable. I have now talked to over ten people about it and not one associate has resolved the charges on my account. I’ve emailed, called directly and chatted through kohls website with the annoying bots far too many times now and I am about to cancel my account. I will never order online for pickup again. My order was not ready the day I placed it and as a travel nurse just driving through the town of Marysville, WA, I was not going to be able to drive all the way back down to their store the following day to get what I ordered. The emails regarding my order never said I wasn’t going to be able to get the order that day… if it had, I wound have placed the order! I arrived at the store close to closing time And no one could find my order at first, then they found it but told me they didn’t start Shopping for it because it said it wasn’t going to be filled until the following day. Of course I was unable to cancel the online order at that time due to it being too close to when it was supposed to be picked up and the employees said they were also unable to cancel it but they said they would be able to cancel it the next morning and promised me they would get it canceled. I shopped in store at almost closing time and three associates were aware that I had an online order placed but couldn’t wait for it so I was allowed to shop for the items myself and two of the associates helped me get the items I needed. I checked out and left happy thinking they would cancel the online order. The next morning I received two emails. One said my order was ready for Pick up and a minute later I receive a confirmation email stating I just Picked up the order! They charged my account immediately and I am still trying to get this damn order removed. I never Picked it up and there was no way I could’ve picked it up as I was over 1-2 hours away trying to start a new contracted Position in the areas hospitals. I have to be that person complaining but like I said, this is unacceptable service both online and I store. I shouldn’t have to waste my time or energy for this long just to fix a mistake. I hope someone contacts me soon regarding...
Read moreTrying to get a hold of a customer service line that actually responds is a nightmare. So instead I'll just publicly shame I guess:
Dear Kohl's Customer Service,
I recently visited your store, 116th St Marysville, WA 98270, around 11:00–11:30 AM on a Sunday and experienced an inconvenience & extremely uncomfortable position i was put in and would like to bring to your attention. During my visit, the men's fitting room was closed for cleaning, which made it difficult to try on clothes in the men's section. This didn't make sense on a Sunday (weekend day) where most people have time off to shop.
Although I understand that the fitting rooms are now "gender neutral," the placement of the fitting rooms still seems designated by department, with one located in the men's section, another in the women's, and one in the women's undergarment section.
As a male customer, it feels uncomfortable and inconvenient to try on clothes in an area designated for women, especially in or near the section that sells women's undergarments. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable walking into a space where women might feel their privacy was being invaded, or I might be subject to unwanted attention or awkwardness.
I want to further clarify, I have no issues with the gender neutral changing rooms if I am in the "male section" and a women or lgbtq wants to use the men's fitting room. My issue is I'm being forced into a "women's" fitting room where women are obviously concerned of their privacy. Women are obviously frustrated and I'm frustrated because it feels like I'm being put in this uncorrectable situation because of your corporate policies, to be "inclusive".
This situation made my shopping experience less enjoyable, and I ended up leaving without trying on my clothes, I intended to try on. If I have to return these clothes for not fitting, I'll probably be taking my business else where.
I would appreciate it if you could review your fitting room policies to ensure that all customers have equal access to convenient and appropriate spaces to try on clothes, particularly during cleaning or maintenance times.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreI have shopped at this particular Kohls only 4 times in 12 years. I would rather drive an extra 22 min each way to the snohomish store where i feel valued as a customer. The Marysvill location has a toxic culture and has for a long time. The employees last concern is the welfare of the customer. Try aggressive customer service being overly helpful there are tactics that are very effective but outright being disrespectful is not one of them.
Each time I have come here I look for a fitting room employee and there is never a soul in site until I step foot in the fitting room. Then they come over and quietly walk away with my basket to put it back on the floor because they assume my intention is to defraud kohls. I have high standards in my brands that doesn't mean I should be treated like some kind of street trash. If there is a question of my ability to pay then maybe someone should just ask and I can show them exactly how able I am and how losing my business was a bad move for your store. Here is a lesson for the management team.... If you teach your employees to cater to theives that is who will shop in your store. Because I am confident that the customers spending theyre hard earned money will not be spending it in a store who fails to see them as a...
