Citizen Church Maui — Local services in Maui

Traveled 5,000 miles to Hawaii Islands for our 25th anniversary vacation, and to make it more special I've decided to renew our vows and celebrate our Silver Jubilee in Lahaina, Maui (Just to mention that this was all one big surprise for my wife, but she receive it very well 😊). As I searched online for a Christian church and of course for the pastor who may be available to help us and officiate our vows renewal, I came across Lahaina Christian Fellowship and after I called and spoke with Pastor Larry, not only that he made himself available to help with the renewal of our vows, but he even offered to show us a place on the beach where we may like to have done the ceremony, and Yes it was the perfect spot into a perfect day! The next morning (it was Sunday August the 5th 2018 ), we've visited the church and attended the service, where Pastor Larry asked me if I don't mind to give a testimony of what I shared with him couple of days before, and I did, even I'm not crazy about speaking in a front of a large audience, I felt that God wanted me share with others His grace. Pastor Larry then teach us and the whole congregation from the book of ephesians that day and he did an aamazing job! We are coming from a church in Warren, NJ where our people are very welcoming and friendly, and I can say that we really felt like we were home in Lahaina Christian Fellowship, the way we've welcomed, the worship team and the songs, the sermon and atmosphere! To bad we had to leave that Sunday and move to another Island, but we left with a promise that we will be back to Lahaina Christian Fellowship when we return to the Hawaiian Islands, God's willing.

Visiting Maui for a conference. We were drawn to attend Sunday worship at LCF before heading to the airport. This is a small, intimate gathering. We were warmly greeted, and were blessed to see the members' loving interactions with each other. The worship was powerful and moving. Not just a performance, but a true heart-cry for His Presence. Wanted to find a none denominational church. Looked it up. Very disappointed when we arrived. No one greeted or spoke to us, except the a young man I assume was on the praise team. Not even the Pastor or his wife. Even had to ask if we could enter the sanctuary because the members was so busy talking to each other. Saving grace praise and worship was very good.
