Snorkel Molokini — Local services in Maui

This was the highlight of my son's trip to Maui! Once on the boat, we had the option to purchase snuba diving for an additional $75 per person. It was a bit spendy, but we chose to do it and it was a memorable experience. Since a few family members want to pursue scuba diving now, we felt it was worth the exposure to a new activity. The only thing we wished we would have realized was that in doing that, they missed out on the entire time spent scuba diving. This did impact the overall trip as only 3 out of 4 family members chose to do snuba. We might have planned that out a little better had we realized in advance. Luckily, we went to another site where everyone had the option to scuba dive together. The staff was AMAZING. We had a wonderful time on the boat and food/drinks were always available. We had quite a few whale sightings also! It did end up getting a bit more expensive than planned as wet suits were $10 per person and snuba pictures were $75. We opted to do all of it and this excursion ended up being the most expensive one of the trip. We don't regret it and have some wonderful memories and pictures. However, we might plan a little better and go in a bit more informed next time around! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because we ended up spending about $350 more than planned. I purchased tickets for this snorkeling tour for my wife and my stepson a few days ago. Not a great experience and if I had to do it over, I would probably pick a different company. With this tour, you basically have to get up super early in the morning, so you’re leaving the hotel at like 6 AM. The actual snorkeling experience wasn’t bad at all, it was pretty enjoyable, but my issues are more with the service level. They tell you literally in the tour information that they provide breakfast and lunch which you would think is part of the $200 per person your paying for. Because of that, we didn’t grab anything to eat before hand because they were supposed to be providing it on the boat which really was not the case. When my wife and my stepson got on board, all of the breakfast had been taken by other people, and there was essentially no food left, meaning they didn’t get to eat. Lunchtime comes, and surprise surprise the same thing happens. Literally by the time they got up to the food, 98% of the food had been taken, and , there was almost nothing remaining. So they really didn’t get to eat at all until I picked them up that afternoon after the tour. I can't put into words how amazing my experiences have been with this company. Owning a wedding planning company, based out of California, it has been extremely hard to find amazing service from out of state. I will never go anywhere else again. Nicole is simply the best. She returns my bride and grooms call promptly, handle any and all issues in a timely manner and makes everyone feel as though they are family. This is something I look for when referring any bride and groom to any service, especially a sought after snorkel adventure.
