First, if there were an option of not giving a star that would have been my choice. I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from Maui Memorial Park, Nakamura Mortuary specifically with the sales department. The experience during such a difficult time was made even worse by the lack of customer service and compassion from the staff. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were just another number rather than people in need of support. Our family's wishes were not honored, and it seemed as if our concerns fell on deaf ears. I expected a level of professionalism and empathy that simply was not delivered. We had a contract outlining specific services, but it felt like those agreements were ignored. This lack of respect for our choices only added to our distress during an already painful time. I regret turning to this company for such a significant event in our lives. The staff’s unwavering support and empathy made a challenging time more manageable for our family. The ability to anticipate our needs and address them with such care did not go unnoticed. Moreover, the immaculate condition of the cemetery grounds in the recent months provided a serene and dignified setting for our grandmother to be placed at Maui View.
