Spa Helani was quite the treat during my stay at the Westin in Ka'anapali. The spa is very luxurious, which was a plus, but that was not the reason I booked the appointment. We were staying in a family members suite, and she recommended that I get a massage there by Luis. I am a bodyworker myself, and she is a client of mine, so she knows the level of service I would be expecting. She told me although it is a bit pricy, that I would not regret booking with Luis. With all the hiking I did on the trip, my hips were quite sore, and Luis really got in there. He worked my hip rotators and used active release techniques as well some deep work into my psoas. Laying in bed at the end of the day completely relaxed and I attribute it fully to the massage experience from this morning. I’m no stranger to massages and I can honestly say that Luis is the best masseuse I’ve ever encountered. The therapeutic (deep tissue) massage was one to endure but BOY was it worth it. This massage experience will be the one to beat and I cannot wait until I return again. Luis is my guy. 100%. He delivered the ALOHA experience that I have not experienced on this island. My back was killing me from the 6 hour flight and I was able to book a 80 minute deep tissue massage the very next day. My massage therapist was excellent and really helped work out my lower back/hip issues that was causing me pain. I am so glad that I came in! I get massages twice a month and where we live and the massage therapist had a really good technique! It was also not far from our resort and is close to many of the hotels.
