We won't stay here again. First time ever have I been disappointed by a vrbo stay. We stayed at unit #16. I asked after I booked and before the refund period was over if there was enough parking for our 2 cars and 2 motorcycles that we were planning to rent. I have an email that said that there is enough parking for all of them.. We rented them and then arrived at the condo only to find out you cannot even have the motorcycles on the property. There are signs everywhere. Thankfully, one of the board members, Terry, came out to talk to us as I could not get ahold of anyone else to help us with the problem. He also told us that there isn't anyone that works in the office normally. The first four days of our trip we had ants all over the kitchen counter and saw many cockroaches. I complained about it and they scheduled another exterminator spray. The vrbo property manager said that it is worse on this property than others that he manages. We had people with allergies to cockroaches and something else in the condo as they had rashes for the entire duration of the stay. The rashes went away the day after we left the condo so I am sure it was some detergent or maybe the bugs or spray. The unit is out dated and in need of a contractor. We only found one pool on this property but two are listed in the description on vrbo. A resident said that the pool has been closed and there isn't a date that it will be back open. Also, the residents are not pleasant. We had a very unhappy lady down the way yelling at us when we temporarily parked at the stairs to run in to get a set of keys we forgot. The husbands didn't even go in, they were still with the vehicles. Pros: good bones, nice curb appearance, close to a good snorkeling...
Read moreAs resident I wouldn’t recommend living here. There’s a lengthy and extensive list of rules for the complex that are outdated and make it hard to live. I.E: NO BICYCLE (on Maui ?!?!) ... No moped. No motorcycle. No backing into the parking stalls. Also, If you’re brown skinned I definitely would dissuade you from renting here. The people themselves aren’t very neighborly. They are also quick to insert themselves into your day to day so as to insure the rules and guidelines are followed. They can tell you what color blinds you can hang in your window. It’s a shame because it is in a beautiful and convenient location but doesn’t give off a good feeling otherwise. And your car will be ruined by the hard water from the sprinkler system unless...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite resorts in Maui, if not my #1 favorite. It is the way Hawaii (used to look). There's a lot of green grass and there's no high rise buildings here! There's a lot of wide open space and some people would believe they could squash in a lot of more buildings on the property. Just like the way The Hyatt and The Marriott squashed in more buildings. This property is just the opposite of that. It feels like you went back in time. The way Hawaii was in The 1960's. A unique experience for this day and age. I recommend that you stay in one of these condos. My highest recommendations, this...
