I bought a chest and dresser from the La Joya location, I paid it all in cash. The dresser was a repo, which was fine until I got it and started to clean it! The dresser was super dirty and the worst part was it had clusters of spider eggs! Now the chest was supposedly new, which it might have been but it has a jewelry drawer and it's not attached properly, it has a gap between the drawer and the front part of the drawer. The wood is stripped and you can see the screw in between the two pieces of wood being that the wood is stripped I can't even fix it myself! Which I tried! The chest also has a huge deep scratch all along the back it almost looks like a crack. I called them to tell them they said they would pick up the stuff the next day because they were closing. Well the next day came I called them two or three time and no one answered. So I went to the La Joya location, I explained everything and the guys says we don't exchange or give refunds that it was a repo. I told him what about the chest you said it was new and he said no, which makes me mad cause nowhere in the store or on my receipt did it say no refunds, no exchanges or all sales are final, the guy didn't even mention it as he sold it to me. He said they would pick up my stuff, clean it and fix what they could. They never came to pick up my stuff, they never called, they didn't do anything!!! I called the other location which was the number on the receipt and the guys acted as if he didn't know anything. So they never picked up my stuff the never did anything!!! This location just opened up and I will not be recommending this place to anyone!!!!! Worst service I have ever experienced!!! Had been going to several furniture stores with my mother looking for a particular style of dining table that she wanted. We saw this place as we were headed to a different store and stopped to look. Immediately we were greeted by Paula with a warm smile and friendly attitude. She asked what we were looking for and spoke to us as if we were family and known each other our whole lives. She made the experience super enjoyable and she had such a great attitude. Not once did we feel rushed or as if we were too much or too difficult.
