China Buffet — Restaurant in McComb

I paid as usual for a lunch to go which keeps going up 12.79 plus tax. This is with no drink which is fine but there's always one lady that says that's to much food it's a buffet correct???? If my box closes I didn't even get as much as the other time when the owner or gentleman was there but every time that lady is there she even has someone watch me I get the same thing depending on how pepper steak looks but it's the spicy shrimp with onions and zucchini and Sushi now that they have it back and some egg rolls and I put a salad together normally crab sometimes I swap the shrimp to pepersteak and some type of chicken etc. I asked her for two packs of duck sauce she said no too much food . This is after I paid etc and the box closed . She then tried to give me a bunch of sauce and threatened to charge me and the other person five more dollars next time. First off there plates to go have gotten smaller if it closes it's a buffet isn't it it's not like I'm using the salad bowl for not salad she even said that was to much of one kind I do not understand why some of them act like that , hopefully yoyo sushi and hibachi that's being built as I say this will have better customer service. I mean honestly if I sat down I would of ate way more. I guess since I like sushi that took my main spot made her angry. Anyway I'll continue to return but I've been reading other people's comments sometimes I think I'll get Chinese from the mall or China Palace the mall has real sesame chicken and I'll just get sushi and side items from them. I went there today 12-21-2021 to have lunch with my 3 children and one child was not going to eat due to he had already eaten prior to leaving home but I was going to get him a drink while we ate. I was told “ No eat No seat” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing so I asked the lady again are you telling me since one of my kids isn’t eating then he can’t sit with us and they could even watch our table that he was not eating anything. She repeated herself again “ No eat No seat” I told the lady that I was not going to leave my child in the vehicle while we ate then she repeated herself again. I told her that we would go elsewhere and I would not ever come back! I can not believe that they expected one child to stay outside if we were going to eat. What I should have said was No seat then No eat! I’m done with this filthy place they call a restaurant. However I do understand that some folks may be out there looking for free meal but I’m definitely not one of...

I don't know IF there WAS owner change or what BUT things HAVE changed NOT for the better. #1 - most obvious IF you have been a long time customer. You NOW pay BEFORE you eat instead of on the way out. They USE to BE busier than they are now. So THAT says MANY people HAVE a issue with the restaurant. MY best guess IS they ARE TOO HIGH PRICED. Their LUNCH price is $15.71 .. .. THEIR COMPETITOR offers LESS expensive OPTIONS. EVEN though we're talking $5 or less, MOST people in Pike County CAN'T & won't pay this price WHEN there ARE SEVERAL places you CAN get a FILLING Chinese meal for UNDER $10.
