Appalling Service & Incompetence at This Burger King Location - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This took place Sunday the 4th at 11pm. I am absolutely disgusted by the experience I had at this Burger King location. I ordered through Uber Eats for a pickup, expecting a quick and easy transaction, but what I received was nothing short of an insult and a masterclass in unprofessionalism.
Upon attempting to collect my food, I was confronted by a female employee who immediately went on the offensive. Before I could even properly identify myself or my order, she aggressively told me I was a "lier" and that I had "messed up" by ordering delivery, claiming DoorDash had already picked up my food.
I tried to calmly explain to her that my order was a pickup via Uber Eats, and that Uber Eats and DoorDash are two entirely separate companies. Any reasonable person, let alone someone working in customer service, would understand this basic distinction. However, she stubbornly insisted I was wrong and had "messed up," refusing to acknowledge my simple correction.
Instead of taking a moment to check the system, or God forbid, offer to remake my food (which would have been the correct and decent thing to do), she became verbally abusive. She proceeded to call me "nasty names" and continued to berate me.
The sheer ignorance and hostility displayed by this employee were beyond belief. Her inability to grasp basic concepts like different food delivery services, coupled with her immediate resort to name-calling and accusation, suggests a level of incompetence that is truly astounding. Frankly, her behavior made me question if there was an underlying racial bias, as her unprovoked aggression felt highly targeted and disproportionate to the situation. It felt like arguing with someone who severely lacked basic comprehension skills; even a first grader knows the right thing to do is apologize and fix a mistake, not hurl insults.
All she had to do was remake the food and offer a simple apology for the mix-up, whether it was theirs or an issue with the system. Instead, I left with no food, being called names, and feeling utterly humiliated and disrespected.
I will never return to this Burger King location, and I strongly urge anyone considering it to go elsewhere. This level of service is unacceptable. I will be contacting Burger King corporate immediately and specifically demanding action be taken against this employee, including her termination. Her behavior is a stain on the brand and a disservice to every customer. Also anyone with eyes can see this says Uber not door dash and it also says pick up...
Read moreJarosa needs a new job. She should definitely not be the person interacting with customers. She doesn't even use complete sentences. The minute that you pull up to the mic, all you hear is.. "Burger king". she didn't even ask if she can take my order or if I was ready to order, she just said "Burger King". Every time I asked for something, she followed up with..." anything else?" But it was a rushy "anything else", like a, hurry up and finish your order, kinda (anything else?)
As soon as I pulled up to the window, she was busy texting on her phone. After waiting there, she finally opened the window and took my card. After I paid her, I said "Thank you" and she handed me my card and closed the window. No engagement. No acknowledgment. No simple "you're welcome". Nothing. It's basic human interaction to just simply say you're welcome. Then she opened the window and asked me to drive forward and go park. Several cars behind us got their food faster than we did. We didn't order anything special. After being parked for almost 10 minutes a guy came out and handed me a bag. Of course I checked the bag and instantly realized that I ordered 2 full meals and only received one. Come on now! This is why you work the late night shift at Burger king. Do better! I understand that you hate your job but I didn't ask you to work here. You applied. If you want a better job,...
Read moreThe person who came to resolve my issue acted like Burger King changed their slogan from "have it your way" to "take it like I fixed it." It took six minutes for the cashier to find my order so I could pay. She said it was because of a drive-off. Well with slow service, what do you expect? She got upset because I asked for pickle and tomato for my sandwich. I didn't order pickle because it took several attempts before the person understood my order art the drive-through. But I asked for tomato because what was in my sandwich hardly qualified, maybe 2...
