An ethically decent grocery beachside is vital, but their lack of consideration for time is ridiculous. CLOSES EVERYDAY@8PM? In this time & age, it's absurd.
Went on their soft opening day & we saw them turn away 7ppl within 5 mins. Nobody but old early bird retirees will benefit from this. This store is diff than others as it is in a bigger lit lot that has bz traffic til 10 everyday. Maybe 9pm would at least be more reasonable & make it a stand-out Aldi location.
Wider aisles, but it still feels very small. Nothing special about this location other than carts are kept inside.. which means it's more of a trek for yo coin back.
Also, watch out- cuz their produce was already overripe & moldy (avos & zucc tbspecific)! Idk if it's cuz they've had it since their initial planned date of end of May, but it was very disappointing..
Either Aldi doesn't want to pay their employees more to keep a potentially very profitable store open, or they really don't care to understand the community they're opening up in =/
Store times aside, they def have an advantage compared to others due to their international products- specifically the brioche breads, choco treats, meats, cheeses, seasonal items & Specialty Selected line.
Btw-If u like Biscoff cookies, don't miss these cookies! Also, their sherbet is sOo good, supe good dupe for Talenti (rasp, pineapple & lemon mix are delish) .
Read moreHere's an update to my review below: After months, they still have NO MEAT OF ANY KIND! (Maybe they have packaged, processed lunch meat, cdisnt check) REFRIGERATION SYSTEM STILL DOWN! They have 2 employees working the whole store (one, very unpleasant). If you like their chopped salad there is one choice in stock (unlike other locations with 5), the shelves are half full and the self are checkout stations are filthy. Today was my last time, even though Indialantic to the W.Melbourne is a drive, it will be worth it
This Aldi is a complete disaster and failed the community horribly. Beachside locals waited ENDLESSLY for this location. It was delay after delay. They finally get it together, open for a week, and 75% of the refrigeration system shuts down. Ok, things happen, but they have made no attempt to fix it. Not only that, but they are out of staples like lemons, dog food and other everyday items. I drove twice this week (from Indialantic, south of 192, in the heat leaving w/out groceries.) I'm done, thanks for nothing Aldi. Whatever management team is currently in charge of operations should be...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with this store. I have made the effort to drive 20 minutes on four separate occasions, and each time I’ve found the same issues: empty cases, broken or non-functioning equipment, and only a handful of cases actually in use. It’s frustrating and unacceptable.
We lost Winn-Dixie only to be left with this alternative, and now the only other option is the large chain store where prices have nearly doubled, making groceries unaffordable for many in our community. Aldi was supposed to be the solution, yet what we’re experiencing feels careless and poorly managed.
The store layout is disorganized, with food products scattered alongside non-food items in no logical order. The shelves are inconsistent, and the overall shopping experience is chaotic. What’s worse, there never seems to be a manager present to provide explanations or accountability for why the store is in such disarray.
This is not simply an inconvenience—it reflects a complete lack of operational oversight and respect for the customers who rely on this location. Beachside deserves better than this...
