Keywest Bar — Restaurant in Satellite Beach

Unfortunately, I didn't have a great time on my visit to Key West Bar. Moved from Hollywood, FL to Melbourne last November and had not yet visited "Beachside". Some neighbors (from Hollywood) moved here, as well. So, it was off to the beach for us. I chose Key West, mainly because I saw it first and we thought it looked like a cute neighborhood bar. We sat at a high 4-top and waited for our server. And waited and waited. She was the bartender and worked alone. The locals around the bar appeared to be well taken care of and having a good time. We got our Margarita and sweet tea about a half hour later, after going to the bar to get them. We got our "mediocre meal" about 40 minutes later. When I inquired about the food's location after about 20 minutes, I was told, in a very curt tone, that "He's alone back there you know". I certainly didn't know he was alone and frankly, the person doing scheduling should have been informed of this. Not me. Her salad was okay and my quesadilla was fair, but limited. If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I’ve been coming here for most of my life, and never have I experienced such rudeness. The bartender, Kelly (not the owner), was unbelievably disrespectful—crude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She didn’t greet us, didn’t ask what we wanted, and instead assumed the worst about us right away. I’m 41 years old, all I wanted was to order a drink, say hi to my family and friend, and enjoy the moment. Instead, she made it clear she wanted us out immediately. So we stopped over at this place yesterday because a friend was having a birthday. And what a nice little place to go have a drink. The bartender was a lady named Tracey and she was great, very friendly and was very quick to get you a drink. The bar it’s self had dart boards in it, a pool table as well as few video games. They had enough t.v.s to watch your sports on and they had a menu but did not even look at it.
