Ready. Set. Game — Local services in Melbourne

I’m not the type of person to rate places. However, I couldn’t resist talking about how extraordinary Ready. Set. Game is! As soon as I enter, I’m greeted and asked if I’m looking for anything in particular, which I immensely appreciate every time! Everyone is very polite, attentive, outgoing, professional, knowledgeable, and passionate! I’ve known Chris and Ready. Set. Game since 2015 and I have been coming here infrequently to complete my collection of 2000s nostalgia from my childhood and browse for anything unfamiliar that I might find interesting! Almost all of the video game-related items I currently have were bought here. (I wish I lived on the beachside so I could be closer.) They have everything you’re looking for in an incredibly clean and organized fashion (all of the used items feel practically brand new); from the 1980s to the present day. They also have other types of (video game-related) items for sale. Prices are great, too, especially their Black Friday deals! They host tournaments for several card games weekly if you're into that. Ready. Set. Game is THE place I’d strongly recommend to someone to buy video games! In conclusion, all of this makes Ready. Set. Game the greatest video game store of all time!🐐 I wish I could give Ready. Set. Game a higher rating than 100%, that’s how outstanding they are! Every time I get the time to visit, I get excited! I can’t wait to go back!

I love supporting local game/card shops. Always have, always will. I've poured thousands into my building my collection from businesses like this for that reason. But honestly, I was legit judging every decision made on our trade-in's because I've been in the gaming business for so long, and should've stood my ground to what kind of deals you guys were cutting. I held my tongue the entire time.

You guys scammed my fiance. Actually robbed. And against my better judgement, I let him go ahead with the deal you guys made him on the games he brought because we were trying to clear our some of our inventory we just didn't care as much about (legit sitting in the closet for years), since we only collect sealed retro now. But to basically give 40% (sometimes less than 30%) value on market for cash, you guys are disgraceful.

For example, you guys took his PS1 Digimon, even tho you guys were hesitating since it was scratched, gave him about $10 for it, and put it up for $70? What the actual..... oh and that $170 Resident Evil gameboy game we gave, what did you guys give him? $90? If even that? Since there was also a PS2 fatbody in that deal as well.

I'll be letting my network know to NEVER bring deals to you guys ever again, its SAD how many many people we actually recommended you guys to across Central and South Florida. And now I feel embarrassed because they all told me the same type of experience we finally felt first-hand. This was gonna be our first run of selling to you guys and our last.

Also, P.S. Put an air freshener in there. I had to spray myself in hand sanitizer because I felt like I was covered in B.O., weed, and...

​I have recently in the past few months returned to the world of tcg a passion I left behind in 2004 along with both of my collections.... and this store and its staff has made the return so much easyer much more funner with friends to play cards with and amazing people to talk cards to, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff's passion for the hobby is contagious.

They are very knowledgeable and genuinely excited to help me find exactly what I was looking for, offering great advice without any pressure. The selection is overwhelmingly fantastic, with a huge variety of packs, singles, boxes, bundles, decks and supplies for all the major TCG games. Everything is well-organized making it very easy to browse.

I found some amazing cards to add to my collection and even discovered a new game I'm excited to try. This is more than just a store; it's a hub for the trading card community.

I have traveled around and visited several card and retro game shop locations in brevard but none of them are as amazing as Ready Set. The places I've been to were either filled with a sense of "gloomy dread" atmosphere to staff that have no idea what your talking about to not even allowing children into shop...... and for games built around the younger generations, this just makes no sense to me.

Why go to these kinds of places when you can truly experience what a real card and retro game shop should be, and that my friend is just 3 simple...
