TACO-N-GANAS — Restaurant in Memphis

Kind of annoyed at the 2nd price increase this year. I get it, though. There are other places selling tacos nowhere near as good as Nganas, for much more (like Torchys👎). But, the affordability of those tacos was a great part of the experience- being able to afford a large amount of tacos to eat because 3 tacos just isn’t enough.) Tacos are great, though and worth it, if you go to Perkins. The trucks on summer and Germantown may just be too busy and lose some of the flavor trying to push those orders out. The one on Perkins always has the best seasoned meat, the shells aren’t soggy because they stay on the grill longer, the meats got a little crisp to it- I guess they can put that extra time in since they’re not as busy and not having to move quickly to the next order. I eat here at least once a week, and have shamelessly eaten here everyday for 3 months when I first discovered them. When I could get 3 tacos for $8 &...

Ok, where do I start? This place has the best and I do mean the very best Mexican food around. Brick and mortar are not required for greatness and they have definitely made that crystal clear!

Don't walk my friend..run, sprint, jog, power walk to this restaurant for great Mexican food. I ordered the vegetarian burrito...now don't let the word vegetarian fool you...This thing should have its own zip code because it is just that big. A true O. G. (original gangsta) when it comes to veggie burritos. This gem was loaded with rice, beans, cilantro, sour cream, some type of slaw. I tell you it was so big I could barely hold a cut half of it.

I promise when you take a bite of their amazing food you will be instantly telaported to a time when life was simple and good. You know before bills started coming in your name every month.

I always enjoy coming to this location as they’re always upbeat. You can’t beat the prices and the food quality is great. I would love for them to add some avocado guacamole to their menu for a healthy fat being added to my food choice. And tacos are just not only for Tuesdays. They’re great any day of the week as long as you have the appetite And a great enjoyment for those who love cookie. You can order quickly in under 10 minutes. The food is ready they will give you a buzzer so you know when your food is ready rather than you waiting in your car 1520 minutes after your food is been lit in the bag to the side at some restaurants. Here the atmosphere is laid-back you can chill out. Enjoy yourself. I would even say do a mini date night or Family Audi. It is that type of atmosphere.
