This pharmacy use to be great! Over the past few years it’s gone down and I’m finally going to search for new a new pharmacy. I had a prescription filled this morning that said it would be ready after 12 o’clock. I check back in around 1, because online it suddenly says “delayed”. Well, you can’t speak directly to the pharmacy staff anymore. You have to leave a voicemail and wait for a call back. Then the lash basically says my insurance doesn’t want to pay and I need a prior authorization from my doctor. Ok when was anybody going to call and tell me that? I’m waiting on my medicine and the delay is because of an authorization, that they couldn’t call and handle? You’re just going to delay filling it? What if I decided I wanted to just pay out of pocket. I need this medicine today and if I had not of had sense enough to call no telling how long I’d be waiting. It’s just ridiculous. They take all day to fill your prescriptions now, being inside of Target is also a downside since I no longer shop there and never will again. I’m just completely in dismay that no one would call me and let me know what’s going on or just call the freaking doctor themselves and get this squared away. I’m disgusted and if I don’t get my medication today and something happens I will be coming for CVS with a lawsuit. It’s unethical like you don’t know what my medication is needed for and instead of reaching out to figure this out you just update in the system “delayed”. I’m furious right now. Also, when they close for lunch you can’t even leave a voicemail for a call back. You get an automated message and then it hangs up. Ridiculous! Then I get a text message after they come from lunch saying they reached out to my prescriber… Oh, you mean after I already did and now my doctor’s office is closed for the day and it’s Friday so I clearly won’t be getting my medication today nor tomorrow nor the day after that. So great! I hope you all are happy that you’re putting my baby at risk! When you had all day to reach out and do your job. I will not be using this pharmacy again. Incompetent workers who don’t care about your...
Read moreI don't like CVS...I've talked to customer service and they do have a 28 day rule and I was told if my app shows refill then I'm allowed to refill it ..they count the day you pick it up ...I got my last one 8/5... My app showed refilled September 1st ..I counted from the 5th to the 1st .. it was 28 days .I was i refilled on the 2nd of September..once they opened it showed it would be ready by 4pm...then it changed to 5:30...then I was told I could get it on the 3rd but I received a text saying ready.i go and get it and was told if I got it that day I would have to wait a full 30 on the next one ..I use the 28 day rule out of convenience of being partially blind and having to find a way there...i also have to wait past 5pm just for one script....at 5959 poplar I never went through any of this .I got my script by 11am... If my app said refill they refilled.... I'm transferring back to poplar and after my last refill I'm changing pharmacies...if u get a controlled substance they treat you like a junkie...they don't realize I only take half of the pill or depending...no junkie gets a job for the city and no junkie walks 25 miles a week at 54 edging every park and detailing with no help and comes home and trains for another few hours . I've already advocated with Marsha Blackburn about removing some of the power these pharmacist shouldn't have....they are already incompetent and don't keep my app updated...she agreed with me.i deal with politicians and they have families too going through the same thing so now 3 pharmacist have been sued and I imagine more to come.... don't go to this location unless you want wait your life away on your script..I pay cash and can get my script...
Read moreAbsolutely incompetent staff and an even more incompetent pharmacist. Waited in line for 50 minutes to have my son’s medication changed from a pill that he has to swallow (he’s a toddler, good luck with that) to a liquid suspension. The pharmacist told me I myself had to call the ER and tell her Dr. to call the prescription back in…after waiting in line for 50 minutes. I call the ER and the Dr. said whoever told me that obviously doesn’t know what they’re doing and that THEY (the pharmacy) has to call the Dr. and have it squared away. Please hire more competent people for the sake of...
