Updated 2025-10-11 Another package not delivered saying my mail box was too small but not wanting to go up the dirt road half a mile to deliver it in the receptacle Amazon, UPS, and everybody else including sometimes then. So yesterday I asked the lady there why they did not. She said they will never deliver. I say I see USPS trucks all the time going much further up the dirt roads. She says they must be delivering medical supplies. I ask why my package isn't back and I must wait a day. She says it is because they work very hard often putting in 11 hour days. So today I get in line for my package and I hear the intercom saying make sure you get 10 or 12 positive reviews and thank you for working today. Paraphrasing. The clerk was fast and efficient but wanted me to fill out something that turned out to be a review. Before I know what it is he has reached over and hit the positive button and apparently that was it. I had no say in the matter. So I ask what are the rate changes about and if they will effect postage for letters. He replied I didn't have to worry postage was still only $0.78 cents a stamp. Gasp! Glad I bought hundreds of forever stamps when they were only $0.28 cents a stamp. So to get my Amazon package took two 40 minute trips. How come every other carrier in the world can deliver packages but USPS can't and say they never will? Something needs fixing. Update on 2025-07-07(Mon): Delivered another package! Update on 2025-06-27(Fri): For the first time in many of months, years possibly, USPS delivered a package! It was sometime before 10 am today. Thank you!
Update: 2025-06-23: Yet another package I had to pick up. A few months back I took a letter that was marked no such address and another pink slip to the managers, Crystals, attention. She is looking into the problems. I have not heard back from her but I have been taking videos of USPS trucks delivering to people all around me but never to me. Yet when I talk to USPS they say the dirt road is past half a mile so they can't deliver to me. Just the people that are more than half a mile away. (Again, I have videos.)
Previous remarks: They have yet to deliver a package to me in 15 years. They always put a pink slip in the box saying they tried to deliver but nobody was home. Fortunately Amazon uses FedEx and UPS most of the time. Too bad America can't get rid of the USPS.
2022?: Well, many more packages have not been delivered since I wrote my original post. Always with slips in the box saying they tried but to deliver but nobody was home. And many regular sized letters being sent back with no such address. They finally seem to have a person who cares. When they lost my last package and I waited for an hour as they searched and searched. Finally she told me she'd continue to search and call before leaving. (Naturally she did not.) On the way out a possible manager stopped me and gave me his email and asked I email the tracking number. So I did. No response so I sent another email at the end of the day asking if he got my first email. No response. The next morning when they opened I bluntly pointed out their lack of follow-up. It took them probably the better part of another hour but they finally found my box. The possible manager emailed me back and said go through him if this happens again. Well I rolled my eyes thinking I've heard this so many times over the years. But guess what. For the first time in decades a package was actually delivered to the house!!! No little BS slip saying they tried to deliver but nobody was around. Could the USPS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn February of 2017 the cluster mailboxes for my community was broken into, forcing me to purchase a PO Box and have my mail forwarded to the box. 2-3 months later a new cluster mailbox was put in and I decided to keep my PO Box. All the while I still received 1/2 of my mail in my home mailbox that should have been forwarded to my PO Box. Now that my mail forwarding has expired the post office is claiming that I have moved and haven't provided notice of a forwarding address and is sending all of my mail back to sender. I called the post office on Haun Rd. to tell them of the problem, and a nice female employee said that she would correct the issue. 2 days later, I still haven't received my home mail and I got a notice through email that a parcel has been returned to sender.
Update: The day I wrote the above review I wrote a complaint online through the post office web site. A day after the above review my wife went to the post office and spoke with a manager. Apparently earlier that day he was contacted through a postal employee because of my online complaint, and was less than polite towards my wife. Per my wife he even said that he "remembered" speaking with me over the phone about the situation that morning, which didn't happen because I was working. According to my wife he wanted us to either cancel our PO box or get our mail forwarded to the PO box because he stated that we can't have two addresses...you know...like a home address AND a PO box. I called later that afternoon after speaking with my wife and spoke with the original person who previously helped me over the phone. She was kind and expressed that when I called my normal mail delivery person was on vacation, so she wasn't able to relay the situation to her, and when the mail delivery person returned the person with whom I spoke with over the phone was on her vacation. She understood that all I wanted was for my mail that is addressed to my family at home to be delivered at home and that my mail that is addressed to the PO box needs to be delivered to the PO box. My wife later spoke with the delivery person and had a good conversation and the delivery person understood that we just wanted the mail delivered. Situation solved. It took a little while, but finally solved.
I am giving the stars not for the idiot manager who was rude to my wife and less-than understanding regarding the frustration of not receiving our mail, but for the person with whom I spoke over the phone who actually listened to me and tried to help remedy the situation and for the mail delivery person who assisted in rectifying...

I was supposed to hear from THIS post office today. They lied and claim a Richard Cox called me today from the post office to update me that they contacted the facility about my package. This is what the rep told me was in the notes from Sun City! I was here ALL DAY. No call from USPS. They even claimed they spoke to me! Liars and I still DO NOT have this package. So NOW what??? So sick of this. This is the fourth time now in a year that I am out my merchandise and money. MR COX YOU NEED TO CALL ME and let me know what is going on. Someone does. I have now contacted the consumer affairs office and the claim has been escalated. No one cares here. Same old nonsense. And they lie about it to boot. This is a shame...
