Nail Bar — Local services in Menifee

I was taking my mom for pedicure the weekend before Mother's Day. We had a 3 o'clock appointment and arrived shortly before our scheduled appointment time and found 2 chairs awaiting our arrival. After chatting away we soon realized the time was 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time and our water had gone COLD. When we questioned the young lady who was clearly running appointments, walk-ins and the register, she didn't even look at us after rudely responding another 15-20 minutes. My mom and I contemplated on leaving and going to another place but then decided we'd have to drive and the time would equate to our additional 15-20 minutes. 50 minutes after our scheduled appointment time a lady started my pedicure. Then 10 minutes after that (we're an hour past our appointment time now) another lady started my mom's pedicure.

I asked the lady at the beginning of my pedicure if she could do a flower design on my toes and she said, "Okay no problem." Then at the end she said, "Oh you want flower? You didn't tell me". I looked at her and said I told you at the beginning of the pedicure that I would like a flower design. I would have reminded her again if I felt like the situation warranted it, but again we had already verbally agreed that she would do a flower design. She proceeded to draw 3-4 line from the top left of my toe followed by 3 dots, yes it looked just how it sounded. She asked me if I liked the design. Of course I didn't, whatever she scrawled on my toes was clearly not what I had asked for. I responded with well there's no changing the design now, it's already painted on there. The lady doing my pedicure left and I proceeded to wait for my polish to dry. I sat in the chair waiting for my moms pedicure to finish and then my toes felt wet, I look down and the lady came back... I was surprised as she didn't say anything to me and she began was removing the polish from my toes. I guess she also didn't like the design she drew after all. So finally I got the flower design I requested.

All in all we were at the Nail Bar for over 2 hours just for 2 pedicure. Seriously?! We had an appointment at 3 o'clock. Bottom line if they couldn't handle the workload they should have scheduled us for a different time or better managed whatever was going on that day. Needless to say, I won't be...

Love this shop always polite, they pay attention to detail which I love but today, sad to say I had my 1st bad experience, I took my daughter in for the 1st time, and we always get her mani/pedi with gel, shouldn’t cost more than $40 right? Wrong, she is 7 years old, I was changed $55 for a basic mani and pedi with gel and when I asked why she said she charged me so much she said cause it was gel, yes I get it was gel, but that’s should be a extra $10 but not an extra $20 their services have a list price for kids of $30 for basic mani/pedi combo, nowhere on their list does it say the extra gel price. So she explained it was $25 for gel mani and $30 for gel pedi. She charged me separate instead of doing the combo deal and adding extra charge for gel. Does this make sense? I’m just disappointed, I’ve been going here for a while and never took them for getting over on people. I like to give my money to good small businesses; I’ll just have to find somewhere else that is upfront with customers. Ive never paid more than $40 for my daughter to get her nails done, that’s all I was saying. It’s a good safe place to get your nails done, just ask before getting anything done. That was my fault. Absolutely STAY AWAY unless you don't mind waiting and waiting even though you made an appointment! This is the second time I tried this place with my 89 year old mom. First time, had an appointment at 11 am, they sat us down, we waited while water got cold waiting 20 minutes. I started to get up to leave, they promised someone would be there right now, well 10 minutes later they took care of us. The younger one that took care of my mom was totally rude, did not offer to help here get her shoes back on. Today, we had an appointment at 1:30, they asked us to come back in 30 minutes, we did, they again sat us down feet in water, another young person took care of my Mom, again was rude and no offer of assistance. I sat there for 35 minutes, water got cold. We left as soon as mom was finished, there was no one at the front to take money. Will not go or recommend to any one ever. HORRIBLE!
