Five Guys — Restaurant in Menifee

The last time I came to a five guys was pre-covid... so I came expecting something great and was handed something else. I ordered two little cheese burgers, one large fry, as well as two large drinks and a hot dog. I paid almost 40 dollars! I was flabbergasted!!! My burgers tasted good, but the patty was so small and thin. It has that backyard bbq taste which I love, but my burger was so small- not worth the 6 dollar price tag at all. The fries tasted good, but I was so dissapointed in the portion size. I paid almost 7 dollars for a "large" fry and I only got what seems to be a handful of fries. I think the large fry at McDonald's is bigger. I remember five guys used to load the bag with fries, I guess not anymore. The hot dog was OK. All beef frank, which I love, but the hot dog overall was so small. I could have bought a whole pack of wieners and buns and had a hot dog feast at home for less than what I've paid for that single hot dog at five guys. I would never come here again. I've paid less for a burger meal at Disneyland. I hate to leave reviews like this, but I feel it is my duty to let the people know.

We live here in the Menifee area, so were to delighted to see your restaurant open near us. We had been to one of your stores in Springfield, VA., when visiting relatives who bragged on and on about your food. Well we had our own neighborhood experience today, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent food and outstanding customer support. We notice while eating, everyone was involved in the task they were assigned. A young man, named Marcel at the finish up point was constantly busy. Fixing the orders, and verifying them, as well as cleaning up as he went along. He was so efficient and friendly and helping out co-workers. There was a strong afternoon wind, and suddenly some of your umbrellas started to blow away, but you staff members hurried out to save the day. Havent been here in a while. Many people commenting on price. If you didn't like the price on the menu, don't order it! Why give a bad review based on inflation. Did the numbers taste bad?

Now, there is a price vs quality in my opinion... quality of food is great, everything tasted great! Better than in-and-out.

I have a tip for people ordering. I hesitate going to 5 guys because the burgers can be very messy when adding everything you want on it. Ask for extra toasted bun and also ask to have all the produce on the side so you can stack it yourself. I successfully ate a tripple-patty with no mess. Usually I can't eat the burger without everything falling out the bottom. Use the foil to wrap underneath also.

The patties had a nice crisp on the edges. Super juicy. Making me wanna go back writting the review.
