The customer service was terrible, I understand that the restaurant just opened and they’re still getting things to run smoothly but they were very rude to my family and I. We were very excited to have a sushi/ramen spot in our neighborhood and we wanted to like it so that we would have a go-to spot in town. We ordered over $100 dollars worth of food because we wanted to try everything, we got there around 6pm and tried to order a dinner bento box and the lady taking our order told us it isn’t dinner time, I was confused and asked her what time they do dinner then and she said right now but it’s actually due to the fact that they ran out of the items. That’s fine but they communicated in a odd way, then my sister tried to order a sushi roll and in the menu it stated that it had avocado in it and my sister asked for it to be put on the side , the owner I’m assuming came by and argued with my sister saying it doesn’t come with avocado and she will charge us extra. This became a huge deal and by the end of it my sister showed them their own menu and pointed at the avocado listed, they didn’t apologize and gave us a dirty look instead. When we were done ordering they did not give me an order number when I asked so when they called out my number I didn’t know it was me and they looked at me like “hello this is yours” in a rude way again. We had so much food and when I asked for napkins and utensils they did not want to give it and I then had to say that we need it because we will be sharing food and eating outside. We also ordered ramen and they did not give us a spoon. Needless to say, we will not be returning. The food was not bad but it was definitely not worth the service...
Read moreDo not go here!. My husband and I went for lunch my husband ordered the crab sushi and he took two bites and told the manager he didn’t like it, he said it was mushy. My husband asked if it could be removed off our bill and the server said he will take off half because my husband ate two bites. Then he told us don’t order stuff you don’t like. We told him how are we supposed to know if we like something unless you try it. How much sense does this make? Then he proceeded to get upset and start telling us we took two bites that’s our fault. I asked for the manager and he said he was but wasn’t true finally after 10 mins of talking to this crazy guy another worker said I will call the boss … after calling the boss he said take it out the bill. Finally… but then they charged us twice for soda and we only had water…we were too exhausted of going back and forth we just paid and left. The fact that we had to explain we didn’t like the food and please have it removed but for the guy keep telling us next time don’t order that. Trust me we won’t be ordering it again because we will...
Read moreI’m honestly shocked this dish is being served at a restaurant. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with rice lunch special, and it tasted like someone boiled chicken in plain water, slapped it on a plate, drizzled a bit of teriyaki sauce over it, and called it a meal. I took one bite, immediately spit it out into a napkin, and didn’t touch the rest.
What surprised me even more was the server asking if I wanted a to-go box instead of asking if something was wrong when my plate was nearly untouched. Out of disbelief, I took it home and had my family try it too—just to see if I was overreacting. They had the same reaction: disgust. They spit it out as well.
I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, because I won’t be going back. However, I would highly avoid the teriyaki chicken and rice lunch special.
The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because the server was friendly and quick with drink refills and food delivery. But unfortunately, that couldn’t...
