My twelve years old daughter had been asking to have her ears pierced for a few years. Since her birthday was approaching and it was a significant milestone, I surprised her with the long sought after request. We visited a different business at The Great Lakes Mall in Mentor first. We learned that what they had that was very affordable they didn't have a matching pair. However, we were told they charged per earring. I was baffled and had never heard of any thing like that. So what the business was offering that would have been a matching pair, would have cost us $100. No way!

My daughter and I left that ear piercing business to discuss the matter and chose to look elsewhere in the mall. Thank goodness we did. I saw Select Jewelers and found that they did indeed offered ear piercing to our delight. My daughter had her choice from a selection of birthstones of cubic zirconia and surgical steel. Each earring was individually contained in its own sterile package that was opened only at time of use after her earlobes were sanitized and I helped with the earrings placement. The contained earring cartridge was placed in the application gun that didn't touch my daughter's earlobes. I wanted a one step piercing experience for my daughter verses a needle with the technician having to place the earrings in her ear after removing the needle. It was a wonderful experience and a precious memory for us.

I had bought my wife a ring to replace the wedding ring that was stolen.i bought it at a place that dont size them and i need to upsize 2 sizes.called a couple places and was qwoted 75 dollars per size.came across select jeweler and my wife had sent him an email after hrs and we did not exspect an answer till next day.we was wrong he had got back to her withen minutes.he had us come in and did 2 sizes plus added a lil 10 k white gold to make it safe to size without comprimising ring.thus man took our ring at 4.30 and called us back same dayat 6.he charged me 85 for 2 sizes and the cleaned and buffed the ring.my wife cried.this ring looked better than when i bought it day before.he has beautiful jewelry at great prices and they do wonderfull work on jewelry. I was so happy to have found them. I have a precious watch I bought in Jerusalem. I needed links taken out of the metal band. I had taken it to 3 other jewelers/watch repair places. They had no idea how to remove the links. But someone suggested Select Jewelers. I called, the staff asked me questions (Wendy). She seemed really interested in helping me. I texted pictures of the watch to Wendy. She assured me they could take the links out. When I arrived at Select, she looked at the watch, showed it to coworker Bill (who was also polite, helpful, and amazing), and it was determined I needed to leave it overnight.
