I was disappointed that I was unable to work with this shop. If someone goes through the trouble of making an appointment and driving all the way over (with today’s gas prices) the store worker should be able to look at the items and decide what they want to take, instead of the customer leaving all of the items there and not knowing what the store would take and what they would donate, or worse, having the customer have to come back for their items to donate themselves. I’m sorry I didn’t see the 25 item limit online; I didn’t want to make two trips anyway because the overage items may have been out of season by the time I got another appointment. There was no one waiting and the worker saw me limping trying to manage the bins, yet she wouldn’t take all of my items as a one-time exception because I missed the rule online. I also go to a resale shop in another city further away and they have you put the clothing on hangers and you just hang them up and they go through all of them on the spot. They know right away what they won’t take and I return those items to my car. Simple. One trip. No back and forth two or three times. Common sense and good customer service is largely lost when you are inflexible to your customers’ needs; especially when no one was waiting behind me. I was inconveniencing no one. I’m new to the area and had been excited about bringing some things in and trying your place but with the way I was greeted it was pretty poor customer service.
The woman running the store did give me some options when I asked about where I could take bridesmaid dresses which I appreciated however initially It was clear she was annoyed with me that I didn’t go to the website first. so, to her dismay, she had to explain to me the list of rules. From an owner standpoint id be shifting that low level response to something more kind. You’ll push people away doing that.

The workers there are always happy to help and give a thoughtful opinion. As a plus size person it can be really hard to shop consignment and used items but I have been pleasantly surprised every time I come in lately with the large selection of larger items that aren’t just oversized big flowery prints! (Also a surprisingly wide selection of shoes) They have done some interior updates as well recently that really gives the place a fresh vibe and a cozy atmosphere. Also.
