Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

This store is as good as a Baskin Robbins can be: always clean, always staffed with friendly people, and always there for a hot summer's day--or whenever you need a treat, year round. My family and I take advantage of the year round nature of it.

Only shortcoming I can find, and this is at the corporate level and not aimed at this store, is the lack of lactose-free and vegan offerings. A lot to ask for a place that has specialized in dairy for decades, I know. Last year I was super pleased to have vegan chocolate and vegan cookie dough offered. This year they've dropped the chocolate and introduced a berry flavor. I'd love for there to be more than two offered at a time as well as for more overt mention that almond milk is available. (Having a professionally made milkshake without concern for later was nice.) Hopefully we'll see more dairy-free options in the future. For the second time, they messed up a special order cake for a birthday. The first time was salvageable, today....not so much. This was the only special request my niece made for her birthday and it didn't happen. I will not be back ever and I urge anyone who places a special order online to call and verify date and time of pick up. Maybe multiple times. The offers made by staff to make it right were a joke and the staff seemed more inconvenienced than concerned about their mistake.

ADD: Receiver 3 calls and 2 voicemails while I was with family on a holiday weekend, did not answer. Last voice mail stated that I needed to call to get my refund, but one of the staff members told me on Sunday when I was at the store that she was processing my refund at that time. Please get it together...

On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, between approximately 1 and 2 PM, I witnessed a young woman working her shift alone. She was young and vibrant! I want to highlight how amazing she was in handling our large drink order. Even under pressure, she managed to assist other customers while dealing with our request. Despite one customer having a negative attitude towards her, she continued to thrive, taking other orders and completing ours efficiently. We couldn't thank her enough for the outstanding service we received—definitely deserving of 10 stars! If you are the manager at this branch, please consider giving her a great reward.
