Have been to this shop 3-4 times over the past 12 months. Each time in the past, we purchased $3-400 worth of items, and although the owner-Claudia, can be a bit pushy, she was helpful. This last visit was quite different from the previous visits. While looking at some colorful slip-on shoes, Claudia specifically told us she would sell 3 pairs for the price of 2. In other words, pay full price for 2 pairs and get a 3rd pair for free. She went so far as to help us determine which 3 colors look best & which colors were most popular. While we were looking & trying on various colors, we also tried on a lot of clothes-blouses, pants & jackets. In the end, none of the clothes fit, but we did want to purchase the shoes. Claudia carried the shoes up to the register. As she started to ring up the shoes, she told us that she was only joking about the shoe sale. When we asked her what she was talking about, she said that she needs to make some money and that she was only joking about 3 shoes for the price of 2. She said we either pay full price for all 3 pairs or don't get them. At this point, she became rude & defensive when we questioned her ethics & customer service. We left without buying anything. Avoid this store! We realize that stores need to make a profit, but to blatantly lie to customers to make a buck...

When I went to the dressing room she asked me to come out and show her everything. Seriously? No. I didn't want to do that at all. I'm capable of deciding for myself if I like...

I learned a lot about my customers. 3 different types. One knows exactly what looks good on them, one needs a lot of guidance and the last category is the person who can't decide and needs a little genuine help....not someone who tells you everything look great when it doesn't. Horrible return policy. Understand these small boutique stores have a small profit margin. Read the...
