I very very much enjoyed eating here. I will start with the only thing I felt was wrong.. the manager? It seemed to be him I think? Was a much older fella then the rest that were there.. He was fussing at coworkers? Also was sitting alot of the time? Lazy like.. and was fuzzing at the coworkers at the door??? In front of the entire place. Big big no no. Go outside or out back or go to the kitchen? Away from your customers! We don't want to see all that. Makes a bad atmosphere. Not very professional and get up! Set an example for the rest of your crew. No one.. including me.. which was a customer.. isn't going to take you serious.. Other then that the service was WONDERFUL! The young fella that helped us was awesome! We tipped him 20 bucks. He even had a conversation with us. He offered us extra drinks to go.. checked on us 8? times? He gave exactly what we asked for.. of course we asked for very little and asked nicely.. not demanding.. like some customers I have seen. Can't stand seeing people treat workers like that in places.. but he made sure the few things I was allergic to was NOT in the food. Big big winner there! Health of the customers is very important! He gave us extra napkins.... we didnt even ask for but ended uo needing! Thank you! I asked for his name.. but forgot it.. he was tall? Dark skinned fella. Curly hair. 17 or 18? Thank you for your kind service. It was the best we have ever had. Not just there, but many places. We go out aloot. I put out very honest reviews.. Place was very very cleaned. Bathrooms were cleaned! At the beginning.. we asked to be reseated. We weren't comfortable where we were 1st seated... which we were seated by someone else.. not him. But he reseated us. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Very kind. Big thanks there. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly! Not too salty.. not too spicy. The asparagus maybe could have been cut a little shorter (the end) to avoid the hard ends but was still seasoned well and wasn't over cooked. Yummy still. The sweet potato had a little too much SWEET in it. It is a sweet potato. You dont have to add so much SWEET to make it even more. A little honey and brown sugar is okay. But just a sprinkle. Not a whole teaspoon. (Which way ay too much was added) Didn't eat it all for that reason.. The food all together was pretty darn good so I can't complain too much. I would definitely return and I recommend! I have came here alot and I always return. Mac and cheese was a little cold but still had a yummy taste and a great presentation. Frys were good. The onion! As always.. delicious. Sometimes it can be a little greasy.. but other then that.. that sauce is absolutely delicious! Asked for extra and got! Thank you! Got some etouffee.. juust to see how it tasted. Was perfect nearly and not too spicy. I am from Louisiana and yeah.. we love our etouffee. Was very pleased with that. Thank you Outback Steakhouse for the good service, yummy food! We will be back soon! Keep up...
Read moreWe ordered a Bloomin’ Onion only, and our order was placed on Father’s Day. I placed our order online for pickup at the restaurant. I fully expected the facility to be busy, and I confirmed that when I arrived approximately 10-15 minutes after my pickup time.
Parking is not that great, even for takeout, but then I do not blame the restaurant staff for that. I parked a ways out, primarily due to how other customers park and to preserve my own vehicle. Keeping this in mind, I walked to the takeout door to pickup my order. No one can expect the staff to keep an eye out for your vehicle if you do not park in their designated takeout parking, especially when they were as busy as they were and during rush hours on a holiday. While I chose to park further out and walk in to get my order, my understanding is the staff do bring orders out to your car. This is a wonderful convenience for obvious reasons, especially when many other restaurants no longer provide this service.
Regarding my food order specifically, we only ordered a Bloomin’ Onion, and it is my only complaint. Since I was later picking up my order and had a decent drive home, I expected it to be cooled by the time I got home with it—no big deal—reheated in the oven. My issue lies in the size of our Bloomin’ Onion. It was beyond pitiful. I cook with onions all the time, and I would have to cook with two of this size onion to adequately flavor a meal for 4—like a hamburger helper or spaghetti. For reference, if I had closed up the onion, it would be about the size of a tennis ball, possibly smaller. $10 is awfully expensive for a deep fried tennis ball-sized onion with seasoned flour…IMHO.
Speaking to the staff, the two young men working the takeout register were quite friendly. I spoke briefly with them and another customer who also parked a little ways out and walked in for her order. They seemed apologetic for both of us walking in for our orders—which we both dismissed as not an issue or inconvenience. I honestly didn’t mind, and it appeared she didn’t either. Nonetheless, both young men were friendly, welcoming, professional, and efficient with confirming our orders, taking payment, etc. I would also like to note that they had a huge amount of takeout orders ready for pickup—I dare say 10-15, maybe more. Considering this, the young men’s customer service was excellent.
With the exception of the pitifully small Bloomin’ Onion, my overall experience was a very positive one, especially considering how busy they seemed and in large part to the professional service received from the...
Read moreCame here with my family from out of town. We had a horrible experience. Our waiter was 👎. She handed us our menus so I kindly asked our waiter can they have some crayons. She responded let me go get some. My husband literally watched our waiter go around the corner and act like she was looking for some which she didn’t even look… just to come back and say they don’t have any (First red flag) She acted like we were bothering her the whole time. Never asked if we wanted refills. Constantly forgetting to give us stuff like our straws and sides. At this point we don’t feel welcomed at all. Our family is a biracial family and she made us feel like we didn’t belong there. we noticed that the other people she was waiting on were receiving better service than us. I’m not sure if this waitress is racist but she came off that way. the way she did my family is not okay and should not be in the service industry if you’re discriminating against the people you wait on. The cherry on top is that the food was terrible . My kids ordered the steak and macaroni. My kids didn’t want to eat because the steak was hard and macaroni was too salty. My husband ordered the NY strip and said his steak tasted like lighter fluid, the fries were overly salty. I personally ordered the salmon with mushrooms and shrimp which was better than everything else that was served. From someone that’s not from this area if you are passing through like us...
