Avoid this Store! Avoid this Store! Avoid this Store! Today I went to this ridiculous store; I went in the store around 7 and picked out what I needed after waiting in a long line with only two cashier’s at the register the intercom stated that the store was closed. I then had my chance to buy the items in which I had picked. Cindy decided that she needs to get home right away and began to ring me up decided that my items that I was attempting to purchase were not ceramic we’re not fragile or we’re not glass although such items were in fact. Cindy began to throw my glass items in one plastic bag while throwing my ceramic items in the same plastic bag. She did not rap my items she was placing everything in one plastic bag. The plastic began to break away. I notice she had no care for my items I was attempting to purchase. I told Cindy that I know you want to go home but you will not throw my items in one single bag leaving them heavy and dangling amongst the ceramic items, glass items and heavy metal items. I let Cindy know that she was breaking the bag and damaging my items then unprofessional untrained manger Susan gets involved although she was not at a register helping the long lines or customers she decided to grab the bag and state I’ll just rap it angrily. I stated that is not a sufficient way to bag customers items the way you guys are doing it -is in a rush because you want to leave and go home and you care nothing about the customer- you’re damaging the items in which you were attempting to sell to me. Susan began rapping my items very rudely such as pounding the items into the wrapping paper. I told her I see you want to leave and don’t care about the customer she then said Ms. Your yelling in the store although I was video taping her the entire time I said to the customer behind me do you hear anyone yelling I said to Susan I’m video taping this enter action and will be reporting this to corporate she said you want corporate number I said no I am capable of obtaining the number but I’m not yelling I never raised my voice then Cindy stated you are yelling I then played the video back for her and Ghetto Assistant manager Susan who doesn’t want to be at work said rudely to me your a liar. I told her are you attempting to say I’m yelling because I’m black do you associate yelling with being black because I never yelled and video tape clearly shows that I was not yelling Miss Unprofessional assistant Manager Susan stated that she is suspending my purchase and that I need to leave the store. Hobby Lobby you can have the items your assistant manager Susan and your employee Cindy are unprofessional and offensive and rude/ racist throwing all the items in one plastic bag I had over 25 or more items that Cindy and Susan disregard - throw in the bag and the items were more then likely broken. I was accused of yelling when I was not yelling while only speaking and then Miss Susan assistant unprofessional manger did me a favor and refused to accept my money. That’s great I don’t want broken item or damaged items. I see from the reviews that this store doesn’t train its employees and Im going to show social media the videos! Ha! I will be filing a claim with the discrimination department and requesting a right to sue for discrimination and misrepresentation of facts for I have it all on video! I will never shop at this store again and you don’t have phone service at this store once you enter your phone...
Read moreHobby Lobby stands as a veritable treasure trove for crafters and decorators alike, boasting an impressively vast selection that caters to nearly every imaginable hobby and home décor need. From the sheer expanse of their fabric and yarn aisles to the seemingly endless rows of picture frames and seasonal decorations, the sheer volume of choices is astounding. Whether you're a seasoned artist, a budding DIY enthusiast, or simply looking to spruce up your living space, you're bound to find something that sparks your creativity. Beyond the sheer volume of their offerings, I particularly appreciate Hobby Lobby's consistent incorporation of Christian themes throughout their merchandise. This is evident in their selection of faith-based home décor, inspirational wall art, and religious craft supplies. The subtle, yet pervasive, presence of these themes creates a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere, setting it apart from other craft stores. It's refreshing to find a retailer that openly embraces and celebrates these values. Furthermore, Hobby Lobby's family-friendly environment is a significant draw. The spacious aisles and well-organized displays make it easy to navigate with children, and the wide range of kid-friendly craft supplies ensures that there's something to engage even the youngest of artists. It's a place where families can spend time together, exploring creative possibilities and finding inspiration for projects both big and small. The staff are generally helpful and patient, adding to the pleasant shopping experience. For those seeking a comprehensive craft store that blends a vast selection with a warm, faith-centered atmosphere, Hobby Lobby is a worthy...
Read moreMy recommendation to my fellow consumers is to steer clear of this store.Go somewhere else. For me, this episode was the last straw. I phoned this store at 5:16 pm on Aug. 29, 2020 and spoke to an assistant manager who identified himself as John. I asked if the store would provide curbside service for the purchase of a gift card. He told me the store would and advised me to bring a credit card or personal check along with valid drivers license. On Sept, 3, 2020 I visited the store and phoned from my car as John had instructed. An indifferent young woman named Angie answered the phone and denied that Hobby Lobby offers curb service. I told her about my phone conversation with John on Aug. 29. She told me to hold because she would check with someone. After waiting on hold, I spoke to a man who identified himself as Jay. He told me that Hobby Lobby does NOT provide nor has ever provided curb service. Because of my age and underlying health conditions, visiting businesses that offer curb service is my only local option. I purchase as much as I can online for home delivery. I had only gone to Hobby Lobby because that's where the friend for whom I was purchasing the gift card shops. My preference is Michaels. The employees have always in my experience been far more professional, courteous and helpful than those at the local Hobby Lobby stores. This was my last visit to a Hobby Lobby store anywhere. I would also happily add that Michaels Stores IS offering...
