A long drive for me so when I need to go I have my grocery list ready. Sadly, they’re often out of stock on some produce/herbs and they take a while to restock. Did the rest of my shopping throughout the whole store in hopes they’d restock cilantro then went back before checking-out and still empty. The restaurant section still takes forever to attend & serve customers so I stopped buying there. However, their agua frescas, freshly baked breads & chicharrones are still worth your trip. Anytime I’m here I get the chicharrón con lonja and I haven’t been able to find another place that makes them this good with just the right amount of meat to fat ratio. Their cheese, chorizo, chilies & salsa options are never disappointing. And when here, I also like to stock up on fideos & Val vita tomato sauce pouches if & when on sale. The meat options are amazing, you can definitely find beef tongue, cheek meat, tripe, and other favorite Hispanic cuts for our traditional meals. Customer service is always friendly but I still wish they’d open more registers, every time I go they only have 2 or 3 registers open and very long lines.
