Saturday night dinner: Location- always busy, but service isn't too long. Parking can be a headache and the drive thru line generally will wrap the building. Purchase: bought it through the app which was so easy and a great experience. Also got it via Curbside pickup which seemed to go pretty quick as well. Food- (Husband was happy with the taste and of the Chick-fil-A sandwich, but it didn't look too appealing. Not happy with the amount of waffle fries, there were only 5 in the container. He felt ripped off and still hungry afterwords. (Come on, potatoes are cheap, for the price we are paying, you'd expect more.) Also decided to buy the Mac and Cheese. (Photo taken upon opening), ordered a medium and recieved a small. It was only 1/2 full! It was sticky and again, room temp, didn't look anything like the photo (that you would expect to get,) and lacked flavor. My teenage refused to eat it, said it was gross. So, it went to the trash. (She came home and made her own.) Purchased the chicken noodle soup (photo after a few bites taken...it was full) It was room temp, filled to the rim which was great but it was also spilled on the outside, so I didn't want to handle the container. Went to grab napkins from my bag, so that I can clean up the mess I just purchased, and guess what, no napkins, not even a spoon package to take a napkins out of. Now, I realize its a small thing, (but I was already having a hard day and I was sick) so the cherry on top of cold food, a husband still hungry, a daughter angrily making her own dinner after trashing the one I just paid for, was that my soup crackers came all busted up. (I know some people like to crush them up on their soup. I'm not one of those people. I want to take the whole cracker and scoop up my soup on the cracker.) I know they are just crackers, but to me it was a lack of care. It was laziness. The value in what I was paying for was not there. I've had better presentation, an accurate and warmer meal, that was appealing to the taste and eye and filling, delivered by an employee that smiled and used my name and looked genuinely happy to work for Chick-fil-A at other locations. Which brings me to my conclusion. Save yourself a headache. Chick-fil-A is great, and my family generally loves their food, the customer service and overall experience... but you won't find that at this location. Not when they are so careless and the food comes out the way it did. It was like buying really expensive leftovers. Try another location, (I know next time I will take the extra drive to a...
Read moreI'll be the first to say I love Chickfila, however after 4 separate tries, over the last year, I'm done with this particular location. I am usually really patient, so when the line for the drive through was long, I waited, understanding it's hot out, so no employees were out moving along the line as usual. No biggie, but then they did come rushing out. I was like oh cool! Well i should have been the next car the girl took, but instead she skips me and pulls the two cars behind me over to the other lane. I've been waiting much longer than these two cars, by the way. I realize that there is another guy way ahead taking orders, however I'm forced to wait as he takes forever and the two cars that were behind me are now ahead of me. Fine, I'm nice, no problem. Then the arrogant guy comes walking up, doesn't offer me a menu (good thing I knew what I wanted), after placing the first item I'm barely able to get a breath in and he rudely snaps "anything else," I place the second item, same thing ruder and more rushed "anything else," I place the third thing and tell him I'm paying cash before he can roll his eyes and hit his little computer one more time. I wait another 10 minutes as the line crawls. The girl at the window must have been new to drive through. She was obviously on her own and shaken from making a few mistakes. So I greet her with a smile and she says "shelly"...not me..she figures I'm the next order and reads me the description and I'm like finally, FOOD! She checks the bag, asks me about the sauces and sends me on the way. After 30 minutes in line I do a quick scan of the bag and everything looks right and I make my 25 minute in rush hour drive home. When I walked in I looked in the bag to see they got two items and the fries in the bag, guess whose food was missing....mine. After working all day with no food, being nice in a line that took forever, and showing gentle kindness to a new employee, I snapped, and just walked away to my room with no food. Not to mention, as it turns out, the other food was wrong as well. This place, for me, has turned from ran great to being an absolute waste of time and money. Thanks Stapley and the 60...
Read moreI love chik fil A.. the chicken is very light and not at all greasy for being breaded. My kids like it as well, and ask for the frosted lemonade too often. I prefer this location (I have two nearish to me), as they always get my food right, and have great service. I usually order it to go using the app, which works well. They recently added a feature so they start making your food as you get near the restaurant, rather than waiting for you to check in, and that has been a good improvement. This location tends to get very busy (which is why I almost always use the app), and curbside takes much less time than the drive thru line (however the line does move quickly). The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is for two issues I run into: even though curbside is much faster than drive thru, it is common for the app to let me know my food is done and will be right out a long time before my food is brought out to me. I have had a handful of times where it took way to long for the food to come out (20+ minutes), but I have not experienced that in the past several visits. I have also had several times where I used points to get a free item in the app, just to have the item not arrive and being told I need to re-order it (meaning the points were wasted and I paid for the item anyway). If the app worked consistently as far as being able to use points, I would probably give this review 5 stars. It is frustrating that I used the app for a free salad 3-4 times in which I had to still buy the salad.. since each one is 1500pts if I remember correctly. Anyway, the points thing aside, I enjoy the food here and this location does a great job.
I need to mention, if you have a peanut allergy, you should know that the breaded chicken is fried in peanut oil. I am surprised they don't let anyone know that if you don't specifically ask since nut allergies are not uncommon. My daughter, who has a nut allergy, is sad that she cannot get the chik fil a sandwich (her favorite) and always has to get the...
