Two managers at this location, both not competent. My husband and I order pick up from here often. Today we ordered a burger with extra pickles and fries for pickup. The total came out to 15.50. I leave a 3$ tip. The receipt printer was broken so I did not get a receipt. When I got home my husband noticed there were 5-7 French fries and no pickles at all. I called to request some type of refund for the French fry’s, the first manager apogozed nicely and said I should receive a refund for the frys because I paid for food that I was not given. She said she needed to transfer me “to the back to process the refund” I waited on hold for 3 minutes when another person (supposedly also a manger) answered and said something like “ if there’s anything we can do we can give a or she can take my name and phone number down and then the lady trailed off what she was saying and the call disconnected. I call back. The same lady answered and said she is processed a 10% discount of 1.44. I said I left a 3$ tip and there were hardly any fries which I paid for and 10% is not sufficient, the fry’s should not be charged, the lady proceeds to tell me there wasn’t a 3$ tip left and starts going on talking about the tip. I said the printer was not working and I tried to leave a 3$ tip, whether that type happend or not is not the issue. The issue was my order missing food that I paid full price for. There were 5-7 French fries on the plate. At this point the lady puts me on hold and leaves me on hold for 14 minutes and never comes back to the phone. I just hung up.
I come here all the time, but this service was lacking. The 2nd “manager” has no idea what customer service is and doesn’t mind that I paid for food that was hardly there and rather argue about a tip/did not mind hanging up on a customer and then just leaving a customer on hold for 10+ minutes instead of properly addressing the issue (refunding the cost of the fry’s at least for the inconvenience, or offer to remake them). I should have checked the food when I picked it up. This was just a not pleasant experience. I did not get to enjoy the delicious campfire sauce because there were hardly French fries to dip it in. This feels like a petty complaint but I paid for a full meal that was extremely lacking and the manager(s)...
Read moreOkay, well last night's visit to this Red Robin did NOT earn 4 stars, but this place is in our neighborhood and we like the food, so we go every so often, and in general, we are treated pretty nicely. Hence, the four stars.
They have a very high turnover rate, so the kids working there never recognize repeat customers, which is lame. Being welcomed BACK with genuine recognition has merit alone. Hence...the four stars.
So last night we sat in the bar. The ambiance was fine in there and it was quieter than in the dining room, but the bartender was our waiter and let's just say he makes a better bartender. He was good at refilling our beverages, even though we didn't order any alcohol. But the rest of his service was abysmal. We ordered entrees with bottomless sides. He brought the food out on time, but when one of our party asked for more sweet potato fries (which cost extra, by the way), he said, "You haven't even touched your burger!" Like he didn't think the customer should have more sweet potatoes until he ate more of his other food. What the freaking heck?! It's none of his business. The other two of us had the salad, and AGAIN, when we asked for salad refills, he said, "You want MORE salad?". I actually wanted to punch him. How DARE he judge my food or how much I eat or don't eat.
The skinny blond bus boy, who cleaned the table several times and joked around with my husband, was awesome! He treated us way better than our server did. In fact, he saved their tip because the waiter didn't deserve one (not that we would have stiffed him--we still left an undeservedly high tip). Too bad the bus boy won't see much of it.
The food was hot and fresh and I think I found my new favorite dinner there. We had fun and we could hear each other easily. The high top booth was comfy, too. If it wasn't for that server, I might want to sit in the...
Read moreHad fun for a birthday gathering. Several other people were having their own separate birthday celebrations and it made it even more fun and placed you in a happy mood. The waitress was very friendly and offered assistance whenever we had a question about the menu, etc. They sang happy birthday to our birthday person with enthusiasm and others joined in. This made for a very pleasant experience and happy atmosphere. It was clean and food preparation was adequate for the number of people they were trying to serve. It is clean and fairly quiet, just conversations being held and you can slightly overhear the chatter but didn't feel like you were so close they were listening. It's a busy place and table turnover is high, but we had ample time to eat our food and enjoy each other's company without feeling like we had to get up and leave to free up a table. Food was fresh and tasty and the bottomless fries were a big hit at our table! Menu selection is good, offering different dishes to choose from, as well as beverages and shakes. Desserts and ice cream products had extra shine with added fruits and delights. Restrooms are available. Parking is a little tricky if they are at near full capacity and it will take a couple laps around the lot to find a closer space to park. It appears to be wheel chair accessible and I think I remember handicapped parking in the front by the entrance? We had a great time and this place appears family oriented so it is a good place to go for family celebrations or just a good old fashioned family...
