I thought I loved you then! Here’s my story. I’ve always been a Lizard Thicket fan, but when they left the Chandler area, I didn’t get to shop there as regularly. Fast forward a few years! I was out shopping ALL day for the perfect bachelorette outfit and couldn’t find anything, so as I was about to give up, I remembered Lizard Thicket and decided to make the drive to the Mesa location. I was clearly stressed and the girls working could sense that. They came up to me, got to know me, and asked how they could help. Within seconds, I had a really great option. I was skeptical because only having one option puts a lot of pressure on me. Well guess what! It fit perfectly and made me feel Ike a million bucks. Together we celebrated my purchase. I went to my bachelorette party and was blessed with many compliments but the best part of this story was coming up to a handwritten letter from Sarah & Ashlyn (girls working at the store)! That is a true testament to how customer service oriented they are. It was more than appreciated! I will be back and hope you all read this and make the decision to go there too! Thanks...
Read moreI’ve debated on leaving a reviews but thought I would be doing a disservice to others if I didn’t. I went into Lizard Ticket to buy a dress for a wedding and was helped by (who I believe was) the owner. She asked me what the dress was for, and when I told her it was for a wedding, she asked the date. After I answered, she immediately told me that I would only have until the day before that date to return the dress—implying that I would wear it and then try to return it.
Not only was that assumption offensive, but it made me feel uncomfortable and judged as a customer. As a person of color, I can’t help but wonder if that played a role in the type of treatment I received. Regardless, no customer should be made to feel like they are being accused of something simply for answering a question honestly.
I recommend that if you shop here, you be prepared for this type of interaction. I personally will not...

She even went so far as to have the buyer on notice about the situation and to contact the manufacturer. Additionally, she was reaching out to all other customers who purchased the garment to notify them of the possibility of dye bleeding. FANTASTIC customer service that turned a very unhappy customer into a highly impressed customer. THIS is what customer service is all about.
Horribly cheap merchandise. The cardigan sweater I purchased on a Black Friday sale bled so badly within the first three hours of wear that it ruined a Fitbit band, a nice leather purse, a dress, and also stained my hair, skin, nails and car seat. The shop is cute and the staff welcoming, but when a garment ruins everything it comes in to contact with, it is simply not worth the purchase. Will not be visiting this...
