Underwhelming, Overpriced and Understaffed. We sat at the bar and someone was stacking glasses in front of us...after being ignored, I finally asked if he was a bartender, he seemed put off by this and said, "I'm standing behind the bar, why wouldn't I be a bartender?" I said, well because you were stacking glasses and didn't greet us, and bar backs can't serve drinks. I ordered a beer, he got it, and walked away ignoring my wife's order. Nice start, not friendly. Finally a woman bartender arrived and took my wife's drink order... it took a while. We ordered an appetizer....it took a while. We finished, our plates were empty, and our glasses empty....no one asked if we wanted another drink or offered to clear the plates, nothing. We asked for the check....she handed us a hand-held device....I clicked on "print receipt". More waiting.....I had to ask her for the receipt....she said, "Did you hit print". I said, "Yes...I did". We got it and left. This is your typical, badly run corporate operation. Only 7 weeks in business, I don't know if they can't hire people or won't hire people, but they were understaffed. My wife put it best. "Well, we tried". Food was mid and overpriced. $22 for a cheeseburger. They had only one bartender behind the bar, and the other bartender was making drinks for the entire restaurant...that's it. And it was really loud and not that big of a space. Come on people, its not really that hard, why must you...
Read moreI made a reservation for 20 people for my son's birthday for a Monday at noon. They told me they could only accommodate a party of 20 on the patio. I agreed even though I had asked if we could just take up the small room in the back behind the bar and was told no. When we arrived, the table was not going to seat 20people the waitress went and got a manger. The manger told me that they did the best they could to accommodate but they don't have enough room for 20 people. I asked him why they accepted the reservation if that was the case and his answer was, he didn't know. He offered a close table for the rest of the party in the sun or a table no so close. There were six people who had to sit away from the party, and we spent time going back and forth to visit with them. The waitress did her best to keep up, but service was super slow. The food was definitely not worth the wait or the price. We were offered the brunch menu when we expected the lunch menu because it was a Monday, but I assume because it was Labor Day they were doing brunch. My son noticed people eating nachos so he asked if he could order lunch he was told no, he asked how to order the nachos then and was told well I guess you can order certain lunch things. I was just disappointed with the whole experience...
Read moreI wanted to love this place more but the menu left me under interested. The place is new and very stylish. Huge bar in the center and supper clean. The host was very helpful and we had amazing service.
The problem was the food. I got nachos which we not terrible. The guac seemed slightly brown but tasted fine. Not a great first impression. I asked for a side of salsa which I also didn’t love. The crema I could have lived without. Nothing terrible just not exciting. I like my nachos with gooey cheese. The cheese was melted but seemed like it had hardened by the time I dug in. Nothing terrible just didn’t excite me.
My wife had wings which she really loved. Note I’m not a fan of chicken. I found them to be fatty and lacked meat. The flavor of the sauce was really good.
The best thing for me was the Diet Coke which made me think I should have got a burger and a coke. I will gladly go back just knowing that the food might disappoint me but I’m gonna have a great time and spend a lot of money. I see wagu burgers so next time I’m going to try the $25 burger which probably needs a $5 milk shack. Well 30 years ago...
