On January 23, 2025, I attended the annual winter mortgage conference at the Loews Hotel in Miami Beach and chose to park at the Lincoln Place Parking Garage. Arriving shortly before 10:00 AM, I noted their pricing sign, which indicated a $25 fee for a 10-hour stay. Throughout the day, I returned to my car a couple of times and observed that the pricing sign had been covered, but I didn’t think much of it at the time.
Upon exiting the garage, I was dismayed to see a $40 charge on the checkout screen. I called over an employee named Maritz to address what I believed was a mistake. He claimed that no price breakdown had ever been displayed. When I requested a payment receipt, he stated that the machine was out of paper and asked me to write down my email address, promising that the owner would send the receipt. Unsurprisingly, I never received it.
The following week, I passed by the garage and noticed that the payment menu was back in its original place, where I had first seen it. When I went online to write a review, I was astounded to find numerous accounts describing similar experiences with this garage.
It’s baffling how, in a city known for its proactive and resident-oriented government, such deceptive practices are allowed to persist daily in the heart of our beautiful city. This is not just about a $15 overcharge; it’s about the fraud happening every day and the impression it leaves about our city. I urge the authorities to take immediate action—cases like this are unacceptable! I will be reaching out directly to Commissioners Alex Fernandez and Kristen Rosen Gonzalez and encourage anyone else who has been scammed by this business to share their experiences and demand...

I had the worst experience parking here. Their website advertises $25 for 24 hours, but I was charged $60 for just 11 hours. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told it was because it was a Sunday. There was no mention of this on their site. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. If I could give negative stars, I would. The staff was incredibly unhelpful. I spoke to three different attendants, and each gave me a different reason for the charge. When I tried to contact customer service, all I got was a voicemail and no response. This place is a complete scam. Do...

Me and my family went to Miami Beach yesterday evening, after leaving a sign at the pay machine on Floor D2 says cash only and pay with debit or credit card at the exit. At the exit a guy sitting there took the receipt and the credit card insert both in the machine gave me a receipt back then minutes later I had a unknown charge from Tillys for 28.04 on my card then another charge of $113 tried to come through which was blocked by my credit card company. Scammers need to go to work and stop trying to leach off hard...
