ART+CRAFT SALON — Local services in Miami Township

I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a salon that measured up to the services I was used to in big cities when I first moved to the Springfield/Yellow Springs area. I could not have been more wrong - Art + Craft has exceeded my every expectation in terms of service, style, and coloring! (Just recently, I had a blow out at the Four Seasons Palm Beach and the stylists could not stop raving about how beautiful my color is.)

What I love the most is that Emily and Meg have created a peaceful, intimate salon that feels like a breathe of fresh air compared to the large, loud, and impersonal places that we've all come to know.

Emily and Meg are two of the kindest, most people-focused stylists that I've ever met. From their comfy couch to their banging playlists, they make their space feel like the most fun place to have a cup of coffee and hang out. On several occasions, I have met some of the funniest, smartest women sitting in the chair next to mine and that speaks to the community they have very intentionally built.

Emily is the best!! I have been going to Wildflower for almost a year, now, and I have been in love with my hair, each and every time!! She is super at vibing with the customer, knowing what they want, and then works her artistic magic. Also, the salon is beautiful, and feels like a mini retreat away from reality. She curates her customers, her service, and the environment, while you are there. I love it because it's not a typical salon of everyone talking over one another, there are not customers all waiting, making you feel rushed as a customer. When you are in her chair, you are her only concern. She also seems to curate the music playlists for the customer, adding an even better vibe. My hair has never looked better, I get stopped, constantly, by people asking me about my hair. Emily is an artist with my hair at Art and Craft. She takes care to ask questions about what I want, like and prefer. I have been seeing Emily for three years, and feel confident that she will create a style that is most flattering to me.

Booking is a breeze with their online process. Emily is warm, friendly and helpful with hair products and hints to maintain my style. She knows her products and makes great recommendations.

Emily stays on top of her skills and creativity. She takes her craft seriously and has fun with it, as well.

Their recently remodeled salon is trendy and inviting. Local artists provide a rotating art exhibit. Chairs are comfortable and I know I will have a good time while I’m sitting there.
