Update to my review as of April 2024. This is after a poor interaction for my 1st maintenance / cleaning. A diamond prong was bent after a very light snag on a sweater, which didn't get addressed with the 1st cleaning/inspection. The ring was sent out to get fixed under my care plan at no cost to me. I got it back an the prong was corrected. Although the ring band was thinner and the seam was very noticeable. I have worn the ring a handful of times since I picked it up and the gold has become lopsided. I'm afraid to wear my ring for various reasons, and it spins more on my finger now with the issues. I overall would recommend shopping elsewhere. I'm really upset about my interactions and it feels way too awkward going back for anything at this point. I'm not a happy customer. I will more than likely get it reset elsewhere.
Initial Interactions/Initial Review: I purchased my ring and that process was wonderful and any interaction I've had with Gabby is great at the Miamisburg store. I would say I think my ring is beautiful. I am reviewing this after having a few bad service interactions with CSC online and two in the store. I'd be very careful you fully understand the care plans before getting one. I think you have to say specific things to get any maintenance cleaning or checks. One thing to consider before getting a care plan. They offer no refunds on the ring or care plan after 30 days. You don't use the care plan until 6 months after for your first maintenance check just keep that in mind. I didn't get anything but a ultrasonic cleaning with a bad experience initially, I felt so uncomfortable with the angry sales person who waited on me that day. I did report this to the help desk and asked about getting a refund cause I didn't get what I paid for and the service was bad. Got a call from the manager I purchased the ring from. She is having it inspected for me since I feel the two prongs looked different from the snag. She was very nice to me and also mentioned my interactions should be better for future visits. She took it serious and went out of her way to fix the bad CSC experience. Something else to consider is when getting a ring remember even for those who don't care about material things like myself, it is a symbol and experience of life and union so the interactions and standing behind the product and service are important to the customers. But I'd say ask a lot of questions and see what the fine print says before deciding on a care plan. If you run in to any bumps in the road with service or cross someone having a bad day, get ahold of the store manager...

This review is being left after a few encounters. #1 the first time I brought my 18kt white gold ring to be sized up. They charged me for 18kt white gold and did the sizing with 14kt YELLOW GOLD. That's right they used cheaper grade of gold while charging for a higher kt. The ring was then dipped and I never would have known what they did until 2020 and due to the pandemic I was late on getting my 6 month inspection and I noticed I had an area of yellow gold where my ring was resized. On another visit to this store prior to this ordeal with the gold switch on my ring I saw them give a lady a different customer a HORRIBLE time over a repair she had on THEIR ring she purchased the care plan and they refused to stand behind the lady's care plan because she did not have her card with her. The lady told the rep they had all of her records on their computer. They did not care. She told them right to their face she would never buy another thing from Helzberg and would be canceling her Helzberg credit card. THEY DIDNT CARE. I made a mental note of her treatment and thought gosh I hope I never get treated like that. Well today 2/17/2021 They pulled the same lousy stunt. I have a nearly 4kt total weight diamond engagement/wedding set from Helzberg my center stone is 2 carats. I had them to dip my diamond band and straighten the shank. I dropped it off for repair and told them I would bring my inspection cards in when I picked up. Received text my ring was ready we had a inclement weather day so I sent the records and my cards with my husband to pick my ring up. They gave him the biggest run around said the cards were not for that ring. ( when they had just dipped and inspected this ring in November of 2020) they absolutely gave him nothing but deplorable customer service charged him $97.00 for a service that is supposed to be included in their BUNK care plan. I find it incredible the lack of customer service they showed my husband especially for folks that have spent nearly $20,000 over the last 7 years. Just take your business to another jeweler. Helzberg on Miamisburg Centerville Road will be the worst diamond jewelry decision...

I was pretty excited about the gift for my wife but when Christmas finally arrived and she opened her gift. She ran upstairs to put them on and a few minutes later comes walking down the stairs with this almost in tears look and stated,'You are going to be mad at me?!'... The freshly installed screw-on stem had broken off the base. It looked as if there wasn't even a weld point on the base? Luckily this happened where the diamond/base could be found? So I waited a few days to allow myself to calm down. Take them back and get some time to chat with Jerry about what happened. He apologized, said he would fix it and I simply asked for a call back from whomever did the welding to get an apology from them as not to sound over dramatic. This person ruined my Christmas. I never got that call. The earrings were fixed. I went in to get them with my receipt and simply stated I wanted my money back. I am sure I would have loved how the earrings looked on my wife but with her having to worry about them falling off again and me remembering the look on her face when she came down the stairs Christmas morning was simply not worth it.
