Been coming to outback for 15+ years. Haven’t been in awhile. Went back last night (4/20/24). Worst experience ever. From the start the hostess was rude, acted like we were inconveniencing her by putting in our name to be seated. Told us a hour (wasn’t very busy), got a text 15 minutes later that table was ready. Hostess was trying to get us to leave with the long wait time .People like that just shouldn’t be dealing with people. 1 thing we noticed that was very odd was our server Julian slams everyone’s drinks down. Even the lady sitting next to us at another table. She said she thought someone threw something at her when he slammed her glass down on the table.
Blooming onions are tiny compared to what they used to be.(shrink-flation, I get it, just disappointing) I ordered a beer and when brought out literally looked like a little worm in the glass. Glasses were nasty. Took an hour to get our food. My steak was over cooked, my wife’s was undercooked (we both ordered them medium). Brussels sprouts were very bland and cold, overall was just mediocre. Server slammed down 1 refill 1 time for 1 of our 5 person party. Everyone else sat there with empty glasses. We had a similar experience at the same location about 6 months ago.
We go to a steakhouse almost every weekend. Anymore usually longhorn. Outback used to be on the same level as the other options. Outback is a step down anymore. Honestly don’t think we will go back. Food, service, and staff is all lacking.
This seems extremely common anymore, employees with attitudes, service lacking, etc. Not just Outback but almost everywhere. But there are other restaurants out there that haven’t lowered their standards like this. I’ll be visiting...
Read moreThe hostess, Lisa, was extremely rude. She did not want to seat us because she said she needed time to bus tables. There was one unbussed table in the entire restaurant. There was over 30 empty tables and booths. When I pointed this out, Lisa said she did not have waitstaff for those tables. She asked me to wait while she was going to ask her manager what to do. Thank goodness two other young ladies stepped up to the hostess table when she walked away and offered to help us. One young lady named Kristen seated us immediately and served us quickly. When Lisa saw that we were being seated she said “oh I was going to take care of it.” Her demeanor was rude and obnoxious. She should probably just have a job, busing tables and not working with customers as she doesn’t have the right attitude to deal with the public. The food was good. Our service with Kristen was impeccable.
So we went to outback today and placed a carry out order please see the pictures that I’ve attached. We ordered cheese fries, we got home and looked and then we realized they did not give us any bacon or onion or ranch or sour cream to go with them. I had ordered the fried mushrooms, and they look completely burnt, and the crust looks old and taste like it was been microwaved and you can see how the container is even warped in the picture. They’re very Greasy. I called and spoke with Skyler about the cheese fries. I had not opened the mushrooms up when I called her I should have. And she said she was sent out a certificate but the food they’re serving is really bad and I would not recommend going to this outback at all. If you do order takeout, please check all your food before leaving the...
Read moreWe did the “call ahead” seating for 6:00 on a Saturday night for a party of 6. The app wouldn’t allow 6:00 and only offer 6:30, even though we were already on the way. We arrived at 5:45 and checked in and proceeded to the patio to wait. After watching at least 3 groups that arrived after us get seated we went in and ask about the wait. We were told there was a 30 minute wait, even though we had already been there an hour. After another 30 minutes we finally got seated, after being there for 90 minutes. We ordered dinner, 6 steaks with 3 salads and 3 French onion soups, and waited a reasonable amount of time before 2 salads arrived. One salad had the wrong dressing and the soups were supposed to be out shortly. The server finally stopped to ask about refills and I asked for my salad and for the correct dressing for my husbands. She looked at me like I had 3 eyes but I did get my salad. When dinner arrived we had 5 steaks not 6. After serving everyone but me, the guy who brought the food ask if everything looked ok. He didn’t even notice that I had no food. I asked for my steak and he went off to find the server. When the server came to the table she asked what I had ordered. I was so frustrated at this point I just closed my eyes and was afraid of what I would say if I opened my mouth. My husband told her what I ordered and I told her that if they had to start it at that point not to bother, but my husband insisted. By the time I got my steak everyone else was done eating. Bright point of the evening was, the computers crashed so they couldn’t get anyone’s bill or take payment. This was quite possibly the worst service I have ever...
