I always used to enjoy shopping and working at WinnDixie. But seeing they have zero regard for their employees and treat their employees so horribly I won't be shopping here anymore. I have several friends who still work at WinnDixie and are always telling me how abusive management is and how they have cut back employee hours to even as little as one day week or less, to employees whom who have been working there for over a year. Managers show unfair bias and bully employees. And the good managers that were present don't remain long and get replaced by horrible managers whom overwork employees and pay them absolute minimum. While working there I was even bullied into only being allowed a 15 minute break by a manager whom then only said minors would get the 30 minute break because it was "busy" . The managers don't care and treat their employees absolutely horrible and have zero regard for safety. During the pandemic they even faked taking our temperatures. So they could just pass us off as fever free . Employees temperatures were false marked as 91 and 94 degrees just so we could "continue working" . WinnDixie is not ethical and does not care about their employees or customers safety. They just care about making profit . Cutting back hours and starving their employees then asking them to work nearly 12 hour shifts . Corporate needs to be aware of this injustice and unfairness and how management mistreats and bullies employees and has zero regard for customer or employee safety. Several other friends and staff members and myself have addressed management and they just cut hours all the more so and then bully their employees even further . I used to love shopping and working here but I will not be returning to a place that treats their workers and customers...
Read moreI recently visited the Winn-Dixie store and my experience was largely positive. Here are my detailed thoughts on different aspects of the store:
The store is conveniently situated on Coral Way, making it easily accessible from various parts of the city. There's ample parking available, which is a big plus, especially during peak shopping hours.
The layout of the store is well-organized, with clear signage that makes it easy to navigate through the aisles. The store was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant shopping environment.
Winn-Dixie offers a wide range of products, from fresh produce and meats to household essentials. The produce section had a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and the quality was impressive. The meat department also stood out with its variety and quality of cuts available.
One of the highlights of shopping at Winn-Dixie is the competitive pricing and frequent deals. Their loyalty program, Winn-Dixie Rewards, provides additional savings which can be very beneficial for regular shoppers. I found the prices to be reasonable, especially when taking advantage of the weekly specials.
The staff at this location were friendly and helpful. I had a question about a specific product, and an associate was quick to assist me and provide the information I needed. The checkout process was efficient, and the cashier was courteous and quick.
Overall, my experience at the Winn-Dixie was very satisfactory. The combination of a convenient location, good product variety, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service makes it a great option for grocery shopping. I would definitely recommend this store to others and will be...

I canât believe there are still such rigid policies like requiring ID from people who are clearly over 40 in order to buy alcoholic beverages. But as if that werenât enough, when I approached the person in charge of the self-checkout area in a friendly and joking tone, saying, âIt seems Iâm too young to buy,â I got the response: âThatâs the store policy.â I understood, I thought⊠let me show you a photo (because these days, with the convenience of Apple Pay, nobodyâor almost nobodyâcarries their wallet in their pocket; everything is on the phoneâŠ). She replied, with a rather annoyed and defiant tone, âIf you donât show me a physical ID, I canât sell to you.â
With a look of disbelief, I said, âOK, no problem, I wonât take it.â The clerk picked up the beers, turned her back on me, and simply walked away.
Come on, being 45 is obvious here and anywhere in the worldâbut also, the treatment⊠How are people like that even allowed to work with the public?
The clerkâa blonde woman, slow in her movements due to being overweight, older, Latina like meâwas honestly very rude. I felt scolded, like a teenager trying to pass off a fake ID. I hope others donât have to go through the...
