I hadn’t been to a Hooters in 2 years I decided to take my family for lunch. We went last Saturday to have lunch, as soon as we came in there were a few nice young ladies greeting us at the door and sat us quickly. After 10 minutes of sitting at the table, finally our waitress which’s name was Cesilia came by and took our drink orders. When she came back with the drinks my wife had asked for unsweetened tea (which she brought sweet tea) my wife kindly explained to the waitress about the mistake, she seemed to have an Aggressive attitude and insisted that the tea was unsweetened and continued on to an altercation. I asked her to please change the tea and finally she went on and switched it rolled her eyes when returning to the table. When we received our food another waitress came by and dropped it off we had to silverware or plates for our wings. We patiently waited and looked around for the waitress, she was in the front hostess stand talking and laughing with coworkers, we signaled her and she came by the table and asked “what do you need?” With an attitude we explained we didn’t have plates or silverware. She went on and brought us some but by that time our food was completely cold after sitting in the table. We got to go boxes and asked for the check . My wife payed cash and I went to the bar to get change because we only had 100 dollar bill and we assumed it would be faster. Even after the terrible attitude we received we were still going to leave her a tip. While I went to the bar to get change the waitress came by the table and asked my wife WHY we did not leave a tip and that the tip was not included, that we must leave a tip. In the middle of the commotion I came back with the change from the bar and handed 20 to the waitress without acknowledging the second situation. She took the money from my hand without a thank you and walked away with an attitude my kids and wife were shocked with this behavior. Never have we been so disrespected and embarrassed at a restaurant in our lives. We will never come back to a Hooters and will definitely be...
Read moreWent to get wings and some beer with a friend. waitress comes to take our orders very unprofessionally and as if it was against her will, that’s already strike one. I ask for the wings and beer and she asks for ID (mind you I’m 30 years old) which is completely fine I go to show her and realize I forgot it and I think it’s no big deal it’s happened to me at other restaurants and they just let it go and everything is fine and I usually leave a big tip for the trouble. The look the waitress gave me when she realized I forgot my ID it’s as if I had insulted her entire family, that’s already strike two and we haven’t even gotten our order taken. At this point I realize that I should give her the benefit of the doubt and put myself in her shoes and just assume she’s had a long day and she’s probably not in the best of moods. So I ask if my friend can order it for me because she did bring her ID and is of age as well, waitress brings over her manager and the manager said yes she can order it. At this point I think everything is ok so I go ahead and start drinking the beer when it was brought to us, not 2min later the manager if he can be called that at this point in the most disrespecting of ways comes over reaches over my friends head and literally takes the beer from the table without saying absolutely anything and proceeds to cancel our order 👀. To say my friend and me were in awe of the situation is an understatement, my friend and I swiftly got up from the table and I went over and said “thanks have a nice day” to the “manager” and he didn’t even look in our direction. We were so embarrassed by the whole thing it was al it’s as if we tried to steal food and drinks from this unprofessional and subpar establishment, strike three. It’s avoidable situations like this and just letting a minor set back like a forgotten ID go why some restaurants think they’re above the customer because no ever stands up to them or utters a word in their defense when the restaurant couldn’t...
Read moreAs a Miami Resident we have come to this hooters that the supervisor even recognized my husband this establishment has declined severely. The girls there are so rude and their behavior is discussing having no class these girls that talk back to you like you in the street, they need a better hiring process is this area. As a so called family establishment I would not go there sitting with 3 kids and extremely hungry, they took forever to take out order, then our order was mixed up leaving 2 people out of our party waiting to eat mind you there was people arriving way later than our group and received their food ahead of time. Why? Because the other waitresses were being spiteful towards our table from the very beginning since we sat down. This is extremely frustrating. They were not even busy to excuse them because all the waitresses were standing around gossiping. The manager on today 03/01 in the afternoon behaved so unprofessionally. He said due to me letting out a curse word of frustration he stated arguing with me like he was going to fight me a women, when my husband saw he was verbally the way he was talking to me he was not having that type of disrespect and told the manager to please not touch my husband and the manager said my husband touched him, in what way I have no idea. Because he didn’t want to shake your hand who hires these people, Then a girl started arguing from behind the counter like she was in the streets and honestly it was down right such a horrible experience. I hope that they have HR DEPARTMENT LOOK INOT THIS ESTABLISHMENT BECAUSE THE WHOLE STAFF DIDNT HAVE THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE TO DEAL WITH FRUSTRATED CUSTOMERS. In which they from the very beginning they where having a prejudice against us. I hope they have different team members where they know how to deal...
