Azúcar NightClub — Restaurant in Miami

It's been a while since I've been there, but now I remember why. On Saturday, I went with friends visiting from Puerto Rico, and we were served TERRIBLY. The waiter insulted us because we didn't take a table, which required a minimum of $250.00. Instead, he offered the table to a group of guys who were his friends. He insulted us and served buckets of beer while we drank whiskey. We went to the manager, and he said the waiter wanted to give the table to his friends and there was nothing he could do. The waiter insulted us with offensive words and gave us the middle finger. He called security, and security was the only one who apologized for what happened and the waiter's behavior. He told us he knew we had arrived since 11 p.m. when the place was only 4 people. I've never returned to this place, and once again, I know why I didn't go. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! Main reasons: why do you charge a cover, its a bar, not a club. This place rips you off in every aspect, The service and workers are super rude and arrogant. It’s a bar claiming to be a club - with tables in the middle of the dance floor, so no one dances at all. We asked 3 different servers the prices and they all gave a different one, first $280, then $250 and the bartender quoted $220. The drinks are watered down and they charge an automatic gratuity/tip for every drink order, what the hell, this is not an A-list locale in brickell. The drag show is a snooze fest and it’s their claim to fame. I recommend coming to Wilton Manors, you can see one of the same performers (teresita) and better ones at The Alibi, plus they don't charge cover and they have 2-1 drinks. 3 because I couldn’t put a 2 1/2 lol... sooooo, I called the club around 8 PM because I was interested in seeing the drag show. They told me they open at 8, drag show is at 10 PM. So I waited for until 930 to leave my hotel so that I can get there by time of the drag show. There was a cover charge of $10 And the place was empty !! Well not literally.. but only the employees were there. I couldn’t sit because it cost over $100 to reserve a table ( includes bucket of beer & tapas ). The cost of beer and drinks were ok, normal pricing. The bartenders were welcoming (reason for the 3 stars, it could have been 1) the entertainment got there late!!
