2nd Chance Media — Local services in Middletown Township

I worked with the team at 2nd Chance Media on a 2016 HP laptop issue I had. Initially spoke with Vadim and he did a great job explaining the potential sources of the screen and performance problems I described. He clearly defined different terms and things they would be checking to properly diagnose.

I was given a loaner laptop with my hard drive installed so I could work remotely during the multiple days required to obtain parts to fix my machine. This was a great option given I had a true dependency on a laptop for work and couldn't be offline. Vadim provided updates on the status of the fix and offered me different solutions based on some limitations they discovered with my motherboard. He listened really well as I described the my primary decision points evaluating the fix versus potentially buying new (or used from them). His customer service skills are excellent and he's interested in positive outcomes for clients not quick fixes or easy sales.

The technician who helped with the evaluation of my machine was Frank and Frank was also top notch. He takes the time needed to fix a problem and his careful approach ensures things are done properly.

All in I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for computer help. I actually worked with Geek Squad at Best Buy first prior to finding 2nd Chance Media but the BB appointment was a complete waste of time. WOW! What a great shop. I brought my dead iPhone to another repair place (MDrepairs) months ago, and they insisted that I needed a new motherboard for $500+. Hi! I work as a web developer from home, and when I accidentally broke my laptop's screen last week, I thought I was done. Thankfully though, I found 2nd Chance media was two minutes up the road from me, and I thought "why not?"
